Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
Brian Courville is excellent. He brokered the sale of my existing house and the purchase of a new one in 2011. I spent nearly a year with him in the process and came away from experience with deep respect for Brian's abilities and for his character. He is extremely knowledgable, tireless, patient, and honest. He is also very creative, an asset that is very important for a broker when the deal becomes challenging. Though I didn't know Brian when I embarked on this process (I met him at an open house), I quickly discovered that I had found a skillful ally and, in the end, a good friend. I am extremely satisfied with my experience and I highly recommend Brian.

Bought a Condo home in 2011 in West Hollywood, CA.
I can’t thank Brian Courville of Modern Living LA enough for helping me with my real estate needs. I’ve purchased property in the past and this has been my best experience. Brian is very knowledgeable about the marketplace and understands the inventory well. When it came time to make the purchase on the property, Brian skillfully negotiated the deal. I don’t think it could have gone any smoother. I would recommend Brian Courville to anyone looking to purchase or sell their home.

Brian Courville was amazing during the process of buying a home….after looking at over 20 different places in the Hollywood area…I finally settled on the perfect spot….all thanks to Brian’s patience and knowledge of my lifestyle and needs…. as a person that grew up in the real estate business….I’ve been around the process of buying and selling homes my whole life…Brian took me through the process step by step and made it as smooth as possible…when im ready to upgrade…I know who to call!

Bought a Single Family home in 2004 for approximately $425K in Crenshaw, Los Angeles, CA.
I teamed up with JB Fung in order to buy my first home in 2004. As a first time buyer I had several questions and needed an agent with an abundance of patience. JB is extremely patient, knowledgable and a closer. Even after looking for a year, JB was very supportive. When I finally found the perfect home, there were nine other offers. My offer was not the highest but JB got the house for me. Another bonus, JB and his team embrace technology and efficiency. We communicated timely via email and signed documents virtually. All very important for someone like me who travels for business 50% of the time.

JB is my guy. It's really that simple. JB has helped us buy our home and recently, a beautiful 1923 brick commercial building for our business. Bought a Condo home in 2004 for approximately $375K in Valley Village, North Hollywood, CA.
We worked with JB Fung and the Modern Living LA team to buy a condo in SFV. He was very professional, did all his homework and was very easy to work with. He worked hard to findwhat we wanted. JB also has a great staff that is very helpful. It has beenover a year and we still feel very comfortable calling JB for other helpfulinformation and he always provides an answer. His recommendations for mortagage brokers and inspections were excellent. We would highly recommend JB to anyone wanting to buy property. As a matter of fact we were so pleased with JB’s service that we hired him to help our mother sell her home. Now Mom is also a fan of JB Fung and the Modern Living LA team.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $350K in Highland Park, Los Angeles, CA.
Working with JB Fung and the Modern Living LA team was great. The thing I liked most about JB was his determination and perseverance. I was a first time homebuyer and I had a very difficult time deciding which neighborhood I wanted to live. JB was very patient with me. He really took an interest in what was important to me. JB spent a lot of time touring me through the various neighborhoods to help me narrow my search.
I also very much appreciated all of JB'sknowledge of the process. I had never purchased a home before and JB was there every step of the way. He gave great advice and helped me think of things I did not know I was supposed to think. JB was great at summarizing the mountains of documents involved in the closing process.
I truly enjoyed JB's honesty and integrity. I never felt that he was just out to earn a commission. Instead, JB always had my best interest in mind. There were many times when JB told me that something was not worth the price or that the house needed too much work or was not in the right neighborhood, and so on. It was great not feeling pressured into a huge purchase.
I would definitely recommend JB Fung and the Modern Living LA team.

Brian Courville was not only terrific in helping me find a house, but has been incredible throughout the entire purchase (which was especially helpful as it was my first home purchase). He's a great guy, and a truly great realtor.

Bought a Single Family home in 2007 for approximately $525K in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA.
Brian Courville was my agent when I bought my home 5 years ago and he was an absolute godsend. He was incredibly knowledgeable - there was no question he couldn't answer! - and being a first-time buyer, I had a LOT of questions. I think what I liked most, however, was how obvious it was that he truly loved being a real estate agent. He worked extremely hard and was dedicated to finding me the *right* home, not just selling me the most expensive one. I am still extremely happy in my house in Hollywood, but if there comes a time where I'm in the market for a new one, I wouldn't think of going to anyone else.
