Joey Dykes is an extremely knowledgeable and resourceful agent. He has great local knowledge and and can apply it in practical ways. We were able to find just what I wanted in a property and with his local knowledge we were able to obtain the necessary financing and insurance that finalized the purchase of this wonderful home. Mountain Sky Poperties was great! Joey Dykes was our agent and he went above and behind on helping my husband and I buy our dream home. Even when Joey was out of town he had another agent contact us in case we had any questions. This was very thoughtful for two nervous, first time home buyers. I would recommend Joey to anyone. He helped in the negotiating process and got us a great deal. All we had to do was fill out the paper work and show up on the day of closing. If you are looking to buy a new home Joey would be an excellent agent to choose!

Toni McSwain has worked tirelessly to find us the perfect property in Virginia! She works hard to understand your desires and exactly what you are looking for, then she searches through tons of local listings to find the right properties to view. I appreciate the fact that she doesn't waste our time showing us listings that are not within our preferences like some realtors tend to do. Toni is a hard worker, has a real zest for life, and her enthusiasm for Virginia is overflowing. She will not let you down!!

Relocating from the UK to Virginia required an extra special Realtor with patience and understanding of moving from another country. Mountain Sky Properties and Dedra's good old fashioned, friendly, local family attitude to purchasing property in the Carroll County area, a real pleasure. If smiles were a measure of a successful transaction we would give them ten out of ten !
Utilizing Zillow's mapping to find property, particularly from another country, was very helpful in focusing on choosing a particular area.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Durham, NC.
Toni is awesome. I am from out of town and looking for a vacation home. We exchanged a few emails and then Toni sent some potentials. She was right on the money with what we are looking for. We just started our search, but I am very impressed with Toni. She makes you feel instantly comfortable. I am confident that she will help us find the perfect property and represent us well throughout the cycle.
Gary and his office were friendly and very helpful. Gary and I spoke several times prior to our trip and I was immediately confident that he comprehended just what we are looking for. Gary and the office staff have been very helpful, polite and accomodating with my many requests for additonal information on properties we are interested in, no matter the source! While in Virginia, gary showed us around and was able to identify areas that would work for our needs and interests and spend a great deal of time showing us properties. When we had to leave, we had a very good idea of what to expect for the money and knew the areas that best suited us.
Gary keeps us informed and up to date of new listings as well as favorites with price changes. I look forward to our next trip (after one of our properties sells in MA) and excursion to view properties that could be our next home. I have no doubt Mountain Sky Properties will come through with the perfect place to call home!
