Nancy is a consummate professional -- an intelligent and skillful broker whose 23 years of experience have equipped her with the expertise to navigate successfully all facets of a sale from pricing, marketing, and masterful negotiations as well as client and family dynamics. Plus, she accomplishes all this with assurance, steadfast support and guidance for the client, sincerity, and abundant wit (especially appropriate when the stress of negotiating the sale calls for a little relief). Additionally, she possesses a New England pragmatic attitude to get the job done, delivering a sale at a fair price and in a reasonable time-frame (in our case, 7 weeks).

We were selling a property which had been in the family for over 70 years, so the decision to sell and the process were emotionally challenging as well. By the time you get to closing with Nancy, you don't feel like you've got a good realtor, you feel like you've got a great friend who's had your back through the entire process. Nancy's scope of knowledge of the area is priceless, and her counsel immensely valuable in determining the right listing price for our home, and this in a market where values were changing pretty rapidly.

When you sign with Nancy, you don't just get get her entire team of professionals backing you up. Shortly after signing the contract with Nancy, we met her staging professional who walked every room of the house and grounds with us, and then created a detailed, multi-page report with specific instructions on how to stage the house for maximum buyer appeal. This document was incredibly helpful, giving us a step-by-step guide to follow. I'm sure the staging we did played a big role in the our success at selling the house quickly.

Then Nancy's photographer came in and shot the house. The results weren't just photos of the house...they were truly works of art. She captured unique angles, exciting perspectives and powerful lighting. The resulting video was masterful and compelling. She captured the spirit of the house in a way I've seldom seen in real estate photography.

Then Nancy took the reigns. She planned the timing...when to post the listing to the MLS, when to have the open house (just few days after the MLS posting), and how to build a real frenzy of interest in the house for the open house. I'm told the result was a huge traffic jam throughout our neighborhood of potential buyers during the open house. But the really important result was that three hours after the open house, we had four qualified offers on the table in front of us. One was at our asking price, and three were well north of our asking price. In the end, we sold our house for fully 10% more than we anticipated we might get when we first talked to Nancy.

Behind the scenes and from day one, Nancy's office manager, Lynn, kept the process running like a well-oiled machine. Coordinating all of the activity between title company, banks, buyers and sellers; even orchestrating a remote document signing for the purchase-and-sale agreement when one of us was out of town. Lynn never missed a beat. The real fruits of her labors came to light when the closing went off without a hitch.

Nancy gets Portland real estate, and she's got the team to make the process fast, efficient, and successful. Period.

Nancy priced my property to sell and it did, quickly, with several offers. She was realistic and straightforward, friendly, extremely knowledgable...all very important to me. Nancy was always available to answer any questions, handle any details. She negotiated the price on the property I bought and I was able to get it at a very good price.Her assistant, Lynn Dube, was extremely helpful as well, especially in making a video that showed off my property beautifully. The whole experience of both buying and selling properties, unavoidably a stressful time, was as smoothly and skillfully handled as I could imagine. I heartily recommend Nancy and her team.
