Being buyers in a sellers' market the best thing that happened to us during our home buying process was to have Nathan Neubaur as our realtor. My husband and I relocated from an area with much lower housing costs and Nathan was able to help us understand the differences.
He is flexible with time requirements, extremely responsive and keeps a constant line of communication going. Nathan is very professional, honest and level headed; most importantly to my husband and me he is patient.
My husband and I were looking for some specifics in a home you don't find on the market every day which made our search a little more difficult than normal. Nathan never pressured us to make a quick decision or made us feel we needed to be in a rush to make offers; even when the house was listed by his company.

Nathan goes above what I would define as a realtor's role. For example we were having difficulty getting someone to inspect the crawl space of a home due to a low clearance issue. He not only found someone he also crawled about half way under the house so he could see for himself,

Buying a house is tough sometimes. In my case it was quite a bit of chaos. Nathan went way beyond to help me find a great place. He fought for me and he made a huge difference. Whenever I had questions, worries etc. he was there to talk. I can with any reservations recommend Nathan: he is a hard working honest agent. Without him I would have been in trouble. He was patient and always honest. His knowledge is vast and again, I think most importantly he is always on his client's side.

Nathan was brought into the process during the negotiation phase. His depth of knowledge and network of professionals he can call on to gather information was extremely helpful. Bank of America made every aspect of the transaction very painful. Original close date was march 15th, Due to BoA's bungling, lack of due diligence closing did not occur until May. During this time Nathan did an excellent job of providing guidance and proactively working all angles in an effort to blunt BoA Nefarious plans. Nathan was able to provide advice and guidance that allowed me to remain serene and patient during this time. If Nathan is this good during a difficult closing think of how awesome he will be during a normal closing. I would highly recommend Nathan to anyone looking to purchase property in Oregon. Normally Real estate agents are like Car Salesman to me, i do not like dealing with them nor will i return to work with them in the future. Nathan is going to get repeat business from me, he is personable, highly responsive and proactive in all of the issues that i experienced in my transaction
