Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Newburgh, NY.
We bought a single family home in the town of Newburgh. Working with Chris was great. He was very knowlegable about the area and helped us to pinpoint the exact location we wanted to be. He was very patient with us while we narrowed our search and encouraged us to think outside the box. He used his great negotiating skills to get us the best price for our house and was there every step of the way to closing. He was a great resource in finding us an attorney for closing as well. Bought a home in 2012.
Chris was wonderful to work with. He is a historian of the Newburgh area so we learned much about the history (interesting facts, stories, aspects) that became an important part of knowing that we wanted to be in the city of Newburgh. Chris also knows a lot about construction and the workings of a house. This is very helpful when looking through a house and questions arise. Chris spent an entire day with our house inspector and us, a time consuming day of looking at every fold in the house. He didn't have to be there, but he was supportive and present through the ordeal. All of the people he recommended: the inspector, the lawyer, the carpenter have all been smart and responsive people as well and great to work with. At one point, I had a bit of a meltdown about it all. His counsel was wise and grounded and quite supportive. I cannot more highly recommend Chris.…More Less
