Norm talks a big talk about his years of experience in the business, about how he works for you, about how he will do whatever you want in the process of selling your home. But once you're contractually obligated to work with him, things change. His focus is only on closing the deal and putting money in his pocket, no matter the harm done to his client.
In the end, his method worked because I accepted less than I should have for my house, primarily because I wanted to be done working with Norm. Even up to the day before closing, he was screwing us over by insisting that I make additional repairs that weren't on the request to remedy.
And as a final slap to the face, he didn't have the decency to come to the closing. No call, no show. He got paid and that's all he cared about.
Whenever I hear of someone looking for a realtor, I tell them to work with anybody other than Norm.
I'm surprised by this review from Mr. Nicodemus. He originally worked w/our Buyer Agent in purchasing a home he had found on the Internet & asked for assistance. We got him the house & the only way the Seller would take the offer was if it was not contingent on a sale of a home. We put his home on the market & it sold in just 25 days! We did advise Mr. Nicodemus to get some repairs done on the house so the home would close quickly to avoid sitting vacant for too long. Did not want to see his home get vandalized, someone did try to steal the AC unit prior to closing, so I'm happy he decided to make all the necessary repairs. My Buyer Agent really enjoyed working with them on their purchase and felt like they developed a good relationship & asked if it was OK if she went to the closing. I said no problem, as long as we all review the figures prior to closing, which we did. We both enjoyed working with Mr. Nicodemus & his wife; he never expressed any dissatisfaction with our service.
