Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $700K in Ridgeway, Stamford, CT.

Bottom line, Matt was incredible to work with from start to finish. He maximized efficiency, minimized the stress associated with the home buying process, was unbelievably knowledgeable about the local market, and handled every question, concern, and wrinkle quickly and with ease. My situation wasn't exactly easy. I knew that I wanted to buy in the CT area somewhere along the metro north line and as close to NYC as possible (within reason). The big issue - I lived in San Francisco so was doing everything remotely and had never spent more than a weekend in CT. I was also a first time home buyer! Matt briefed me on the market, signed me up for a search tool that allowed me to do my own market research and narrow down a few areas. He was quick to provide me an unvarnished view on each property I inquired about, what it would mean for commute, a view on the neighborhood / area, key points on the home. It was clear that he was truly on my side and not pushing properties on me in the effort to simply secure a sale. On a few occasions, I gave Matt the heads up (last second of course) that I would be in town for business and would have a limited window over the weekend, or early in the morning mid-week (7am on the day we found our house) to look at houses and familiarize myself with the area. Matt did what it took to make it work with his schedule, even though the times were clearly not the most convenient! He also picked me up and dropped me back off at the train a few times - full service! When I wasn't able to see a property that hit the market (given I was in across the country), Matt took the time to do video tours with commentary to ensure that I had a feel for the property without being physically present. Once we found what could be "the house", Matt was honest and provided sound advice. The house itself is a large 1928 Colonial, so obviously entirely different from buying new construction and many more considerations. Matt educated me to the best of his knowledge on the spot, identified all of the potential wild cards in play, and was as detailed as humanly possible in our initial walk through so that I was able to take all things into account. When I returned to San Francisco, excited to show my Fiance the video's I had taken, I discovered that my Iphone software crashed and the videos were gone. Matt to the rescue once again - he went back to the house and took another 10-12 videos with commentary so that my fiance was able to determine that she also loved the house! It was slated to open house that Sunday - with Matt's advice, we put together an offer and were able to negotiate that Friday and Saturday leading into the open house, and had a signed agreement before it ever took place, saving us a ton of anxiety (and not to mention, Matt did an outstanding job with the negotiation). From there, Matt had an amazing group of trustworthy resources that helped handle the next steps and he was there to advise every step of the way. The inspection (which we were worried about given you never know what you are going to find in an old home) was outstanding. Matt also linked us up with a great lawyer who made all the difference in the world. I have no doubt in my mind that if it weren't for Matt and his differentiated approach, determination, knowledge, relationships, and overall control of what is an unbelievably complicated process, we would not have found our home and successfully made it through to closing. Thanks to Matt for doing an incredible job and helping us find our dream home!  More Less

Bought a home in 2014 in Long Hill, Trumbull, CT 06611.

Matt made the entire process incredibly smooth, he recommended a lawyer and a mortgage broker as well and the team worked together to get our house closed within 30 days. Working with Matt was great and I would highly recommend his services.
