Ratings & Reviews

This review is twofold: a review of the services I received from Beth and a response to the negative review from Summers Eve. Beth helped me find and buy my first home two years ago, and she was helpful, responsive and an excellent negotiator. My budget was small, as a first time home-buyer in one of the most expensive markets in the US, and I was shocked and over-joyed she was able to find my dream home in just about a month, and negotiate her heart out for me. After the deal went through, she even got me a house-warming gift. She is tactful, kind, and one hell of a business woman! Her services we're SO helpful, in fact, that I have recommended her several times since, to friends and family, who have had similar experiences. We  all love her. Unfortunately, my family experienced a loss this year. Trusting no one else but Beth with this delicate family situation, I recommended her to my family members as they sought to sell their mother's home. Without going into too much detail: it has been difficult. And yet, the person who wrote that review has NOTHING to do with the sale of the home. She is an unfortunate and unsavory low-class character who was upset that Beth was following orders from the executor of the estate. She is a "friend" of one the brothers, and had no right to be calling and harassing Beth in the first place. Of course she was not allowed to enter the home; she didn't/hadn't ever lived there, she is not an heir to the estate, and close of escrow was just days away. Thank you Beth for following the executor's orders. Thank you for your sensitivity and kindness, even with the events that have taken place. You are truly an outstanding person. I'm so grateful for you and everything you've done. My only apologies are for the negative reviews that have come from a third party that has nothing to do with the matter, because I referred you. The takeaway is this: Beth is classy, and a pleasure to work with. You would be hard-pressed to find a better agent.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $625K in Fullerton, CA.

This is in regards to the negative reviews left on multiple review sites by a person calling herself summerseve.aa and anonymous.anon. My name is Roxanne Karr. My brother, Robert Hickin, and I are the actual sellers of the house this person referred to, and I would like to clarify some things. Kim M, the person who wrote these negative reviews, is clearly not rational; she is out to sling mud at Beth Sparks to try and ruin Beth's reputation. My brother is not dealing well with our mother's recent death. He has dragged his feet through every step of the selling process, including refusing to move his stuff off the premises. I've tried to help him all I could--I helped him pack his stuff, I found and paid for storage units, I offered to help him find a place to live. I live in Nevada, but I closed the store I own and spent the last several months living here, apart from my husband, while getting the house ready to sell. When I had done everything I could do, I handed the keys of the house over to Beth. We had one week left until the close of escrow and Robert still had a garage full of crap that he couldn't be bothered to move. I explained to Robert that the house would be locked for the last week of escrow so the workers could do final repairs. I explained that he would need to contact Beth to unlock the house for him anytime he wanted to go there to move the last of his things out. He didn't want to do it that way. Robert wanted to leave the house unlocked so he could go over whenever he wanted, and he wanted to just hang out all night every night with his little group of friends and party. Robert got frustrated because he kept finding the house locked up. This is where Kim comes in. She decided to defame Beth in order to get back at her for Robert. She began harassing Beth, calling her, texting her and threatening her with legal action on Robert's behalf. Kim then went one step further and published false reviews, posing as the seller of the house. I want to state unequivocally that Beth Sparks is the utmost professional. She came highly recommended and I am so glad I asked her to represent us in selling this house. She got us our asking price in a very short amount of time--the house sold after the very first open house! Beth has handled the entire process with expertise and she has worked hard to see that we understood everything that was going on. Besides being a very professional realtor, Beth has become a very dear friend; I can't imagine going through such a difficult situation with anyone else.

For a Realtor to base their persona around interstellar experience and first class service I assumed this is what service I would be getting. However, Beth Sparks was nothing of the sort. In fact I would say she is low class, rude, snobbish and pretty unstellar. She would say all the right things but do the opposite. Once the house sold she actually locked me out of the garage unable to get access to my belongings and even hung up on me when trying to talk with her about it. I was shocked and extremely dissatisfied. I would like to fire her but just want this over with. I can not say the entire company is as heartless but if you get Beth Sparks beware.

Showed home in 2015 in Carlton, Yorba Linda, CA 92886.

She was very prompt to respond to all my questions. She tried several times to accommodate my schedule. I was never able to view a listing with her but she has been more than helpful in sharing listing with me that are compatible with my price range and location. I will continue to work with her as I get closer to buying a home. Every time I email her she responds with in the hour. (extremely on the ball) She has great knowledge in her work and has been more than helpful to me through out my home search. I have zero complaints about her services. I am more than happy to refer her to anyone I know that is looking in the market for a home. They will not be disappointed. I am very pleased to work with her. I couldn't ask for anyone more helpful and assertive. One day she will be the one to sell me my dream home once we find it.

Bought a home in 2014.

Incredible!!!! Couldn't ask for more in a real estate agent. She was a perfect 10 from beginning to end. Being a first time home buyer, she was with me throughout the entire process. Extremely knowledgeable about the market, market conditions, pricing, and the neighborhoods. But what puts her over the edge is her communication. She was available every single time I had even the smallest of questions and had the answer right away. Beth is the best I’ve seen with using all the technology that's now available when buying a home which is something that sets her apart from all over real estate agents. From the initial home search, to writing up the contract, and getting the keys (just closed on my dream home!), I really felt like I had a partner throughout the entire process.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $250K in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

Beth is an amazing Real Estate Professional. I can't say enough good things about her.

When we started our house buying process, we decided to use a family friend who was a Realtor. We quickly learned we made the wrong decision. We were not treated like actual clients. We were brushed off to the side. There was no communication. This went on for about 2 months.

My cousin was looking to purchase her first home at the same time. She met Beth at an open house and instantly fell in love with her. Beth was able to find my cousin a house right away. She came highly recommended by my cousin so we decided to reach out for help. Before we had the chance to reach out to Beth, Beth reached out to us. She reassured us there were houses in our price range and that our wants were not unreasonable with our budget and desired location. Within the first week she lined up a full days worth of showings and open houses to look at. By that first weekend she had us in escrow on our house. She even called us at 9 pm on Sunday to let us know the seller accepted our offer.

Being first time home buyers we were not familiar with any of the process. Beth was extremely helpful and took care of all of our questions. I am a complete worry wart and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help ease my worries. We had a few issues with the seller and the selling agent once we received the keys. Beth went to bat for us. She stayed on top of it everyday and called us throughout the day just to let us know she was working on it even if she didn't have an update at that moment. She didn't want us to worry. She even filed a complaint for the selling agent with the Real Estate Board on our behalf. Beth went above and beyond our expectations.

We have highly recommended Beth and The Boutique Real Estate Group to everyone we know and even strangers. We purchased in October 2013 and to this day, we still stay in contact with Beth. We will never use any other Realtor after working with Beth. She has clients for life!
