what is the average time to allow the buyer a final walk through before closing date

Answer
You want to do a walk through as soon as repairs are complete. If the repairs are extensive, you may want your home inspector to Be present during the walk through. Try to do walk through at least a week before in order to give yourself enough time to correct anything that was not repaired properly.

Will pre-approval hurt me in a future if my offer rejected

Answer
No. Your offer being rejected has nothing to do with your credit rating. Don't worry about that just put your offer in and if it is accepted Fantastic! if it is rejected no worries, Just move on to next property and or write another offer. Good luck.

I am 2 weeks into my contract with no showings. Is this normal?

Answer
Hello. If the comparables that were used to price your home during the listing meeting are close to the price you actually listed your property, you should be okay. Sometimes the market moves slow because of factors like weather, holidays, school calendar etc... Talk to your realtor let them know your concerns. If a couple more weeks go by and there are no showings then talk to your realtor and consider adjusting price. Good luck!

How much, if any, should I budget for a Real Estate Agent?

Answer
The commission is usually paid by the listing agent. The listing agent has an agreement with seller to list the home and they come to an agreement as to how much the commission will be. The listing realtor or agent usually splits the commission with selling broker. So, you may not need to worry about paying a commission. In most cases the buyer will not have pay a commission; But there are some times when the seller won't pay too. Good luck!
