Why can't Zillow show the address of the houses that are in pre-forclosure? A little frustrating.

Answer
I get contacted by consumers to view these listings, or to find out more information.  These are pre-foreclosures.I really feel for the homeowners of these homes.  It's hard enough to go through the process, and then have it publicly displayed on such a format via online seems to far.  (My personal opinion) I understand it's public information.  I get that.  However, these homes ARE NOT FOR SALE.  Dear Consumers:  This is public information, do NOT PAY for this information!!!That's my 2 cents!

Question about offers

Answer
Give them a call and follow up with, I know the last time we spoke you were indicating I would see an offer.  Have those circumstances changes and if so, ask why?You always want to get feedback good and bad.  This will help you stay proactive and adjust the needed changes along the way.Best of luck.

Inspection/damage history

Answer
Hi, thereGreat question.  Always, do your homework and get an inspection.  Regardless if the home is new or old.  Your Agent should be able to refer you to at least 3 or more qualified inspectors whom they have worked with before and are satisfied with their performance.  The cost can vary. The sellers are required to fill out a sellers disclosure in the state of Oregon.  This is a great resource for Buyers who may have concerns.. Best Wishes,

Realtor trust

Response
For myself, it's very Smart to get my client the best deal.  Why?  When my clients are happy, and satisfied that they just saved thousands of dollars by using me to negotiate their purchase, I am the happiest Realtor on the planet.I live for those moments.  The benefit is, Happy clients= great referrals=great business. When negotiating the best deal.  Make sure you Realtor has your best interests at heart by doing a Comparable Market Analysis before making ANY offers on properties.  This ensures you are making an educated decision about the value of your purchase.Ask friends and family for at least 3 referrals to Agents they have used themselves for a purchase.  Interview, then make a decision on whom you think would work best for you.Best of luck,Kimberly KinvilleEast Metro Specialist

I have a friend with financial troubles. Any advise to help them refinance.

Answer
I do know of a program which is government sponsored that can help homeowners refinance to stay in their homes.  Our lender at Landover Mortgage discussed this with our Office and can offer this to homeowners who can't normally refinance if they don't have a certain amount of equity.  Owners can stay in their homes and they can help reduce their mortgage payments and stay in their home.  I personally feel this process is better than the Mortgage Modification.  The only catch is, they have to be current on their mortgage payments. If you need additional information, I would be happy to send that to you.
