Kathy and Rachel always do a great job. They are thorough, professional, and creative. They always go beyond the expected in the service they offer, even visiting the house regularly to cut the roses and check the water levels in the pool and fountain. Best of all, they are very responsive, always returning phone calls and messages immediately. We really felt that we were in excellent hands throughout the process.

Our experience in selling our home of 20 years was made bearable by and through the efforts of Kathy and Rachel. They were a professional team and were extremely helpful when dealing with the various steps in getting the sale signed , sealed & delivered.

They possessed everything a seller would appreciate and look for in an agent, along with being friendly and empathetic throughout the entire process.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $775K in Redondo Beach, CA.

Originally, my husband and I were looking to buy a home on the Westside with a focus on Culver City. We looked left, right, up, and down. We were passed up on offers three times, and couldn't get a hold on a house we truly loved. Even the ones we put offers on were definitely not our dream home. We constantly felt like we were settling.

Once we decided to expand our search to the South Bay, we asked Kathy and Rachel to help us locate a home that was in our budget and met all of our criterion. It took Rachel one night to come up with a comprehensive list of homes that matched very closely to what we were looking for. Rachel showed us the home we just bought the day after she sent us the list, and we immediately fell in love. It was literally the first house I really felt giddy about.

The home was on the market for 2 days before we saw it and already had multiple offers. We saw it on a Thursday, and we had to leave for New York on Friday! I was in a panic. I wanted the house... badly. Poor K+R had to deal with our texts, emails, and phone calls all Thursday night. They put the offer in that night. We found out that we were in contention with 8 other offers! On the flight to NY, I could only think about the home.

Once we landed in NY, K+R contacted and informed us that she and the selling agent had been negotiating. They established a great rapport with the sellers' agent, and was very well-informed on exactly what they were looking for. They had us write a personal letter to the sellers and gave us a list of what would make us the most favorable buyer.

The sellers asked for a final and best offer from all of the potential buyers, and K+R knew exactly what was necessary to seal the deal. The sellers accepted! We felt like we got an incredible home for a reasonable price in such a competitive market.

Of course, we were still in New York at this point, scrambling to get loan documents together and coordinate the inspections. K+R said, "no problem," and handled the inspections in our absence.

A few days later, and we were back in Los Angeles. We were on a tight loan deadline, and K+R kept us well-informed, put the appropriate pressure on the sellers, bank, escrow and title company when necessary, and despite some tense repair negotiations, got us through escrow with our sanity intact.

One month after close of escrow, K+R are still helping us out with handyman recommendations, making sure we received appropriate closing documents, and even greeted us at our home with a bottle of champagne along with our keys!

K + R were truly amazing. They went up and beyond the call of duty, and best of all dealt with all our neurotic and panicked behavior with grace.

We HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!!!

They are the best! House was presented widely in several formats such as print and internet and through agents. It sold quickly. Their follow through on every aspect was perfect. Returned every call and text very promptly. Their knowledge of the current market and local conditions were a great asset. They handled all the details beautifully and streamlined the process for me. I was impressed with their professionalism and enjoyed working with two positive, energetic realtors. They are both a 10!

Bought a home in 2008.

This mother daughter team goes the extra mile. Both have this uncanny ability to "read your mind" when it comes to trying to figure out the type of house you're looking for. Also, they are very technologically savvy so they can set up search parameters so you can view potential homes in the comfort of your own home/office.

They helped me to find the exact house I wanted which wasn't easy given my strict parameters: One story, 4 bedrooms, Craftsman style, big back yard, front patio area with a view. Oh boy, I sure gave them a challenge but they found it!!!! They can help you find your final nesting place as well. Trust me. I've used them all and finally found Kathy and Rachel. Don't waste your time on others. They get it and very few do.

Dear Kathy and Rachel, I’m writing to you to thank you for handling the sale of our home and the purchase of two others with finesse, flexibility and broad understanding of real estate law and marketing trends. They say the hardest business transactions involve the combination of an attorney and an engineer. I imagine, however, it is even more difficult if that couple is dealing with a forced sale resulting from a divorce. Coupled with the fact that we had different priorities, were not in agreement most of the time, and had trouble dealing with each other, you two were remarkable. You negotiated away each objection resulting from individual peccadilloes, often to your own detriment. You were remarkably upbeat neutralizing difficulties with a joke or an irreverent comment while maintaining an air of impartiality necessary to make up both feel comfortable. You did an outstanding job of closing with difficult buyers and sellers in a tough market, piecing together a deal that seemed impossible to negotiate. I have learned from you that the most important marketing skills are exhibited at the end, not the beginning of the sale. As an attorney, I know that many contracts fall apart over the minutia that arise after the agreement is signed. You both have a true skill at removing objections one by one and actually closing an impossible deal. I have learned that a realtor needs much more than outstanding knowledge of real estate, law, finance, marketing, taxes, insurance, home repair, multiple ethnic cultural acumen and a good car, all of which you two possess. She needs to be a psychologist capable of handling whatever personal barriers that may arise. As far as I am concerned, you two have earned your “Shrink PhDs”. Even after everything was closed and finished, you showed up with flowers for me on Valentine’s Day, the most valuable and empathetic gift anyone could have given me. Thank you for everything. Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $450K in Hawthorne, CA.

Kathy and Rachel make a great team. They assisted us with securing an investment property, making it a really positive and exciting experience.

We are relatively inexperienced in the real estate market and they both were very patient with us in terms of explaining all the little nuances of the process.

Rachel was a consummate professional. She was always on time during the viewing of properties and contributed to the evaluation of the properties. She is very pleasant to work with and always responded timely during our exchanges, whether by phone, email, or text messaging.

Sold a home in 2011.

Kathy and Rachel are the hardest working, most personable agents in the south bay. They have sold 2 of my houses. Making each one a better experience. Rachel with her added touches to make a house look great for open house. Kathy with her experience, and knowledge. Oh, and dont let me forget about her baking, and bringing over constant treats. Their personalities are amazing, they are high tech, and keep in constant touch with their client during the selling process. They are the perfect team!!!!

Sold a home in 2007.

I used Rachel to stage my four bedroom house in preparation for putting it on the market. Rachel went right to work with her little clipboard going room to room suggesting quick and easy fixes which would give me the biggest bang for my buck. It sold in 6 days in a really tough, competitive market.
