Team reviews

I had my home for sale for 1 year with a different real estate agent with no success. Pam came to my attention threw a mutual friend, met with her in my home and reviewed my previous listing. Pam suggested changes in my previous contract and listing that would encourage buyer interest. I was impressed with her knowledge of market value in my area and her professionalism lead me to sign a contract with her firm. My expectations were more than satisfactory. Pam sold my home in 3 days upon being listed. Pam was a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Anyone interested in selling their home will enjoy the pleasure of working with this true professional.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Getzville, NY.

After lengthy periods with other agents without a serious offer we turned to Pamela. She had a very favorable offer to us in a matter of two weeks. She did a great job and we are very happy with the results and would recommend her to anyone we know.

Sold a Multi Family home in 2014 for approximately $150K in Kenmore, NY.

Pam was very personable but realistic about pricing. I got into contract to sell a little less than a month into the process at what I would consider fair market value (high end of $/sqft comparables). I saved $2500 versus a traditional real estate agency so overall I was ahead of the game. I offered 2.5% to buyers agents and the selling fee was 1% + $500. Pam was responsive to any questions I had and the contract through closing period went smoothly. She has the process streamlined to sign documents electronically and communicates mostly over phone or text message. This allows her to save time and do volume but still be responsive to clients needs. I felt like this was exactly the level of service I needed and to be honest I'm not even sure what more a full service agency would have done for me. I was responsible for doing open houses, but choose not to do any. All showings were done by buyers agents. Overall I was very happy with the service and if in need again, I would contact Pam and/or America's choice again.

Did not respond to my inquiry in Lancaster, Town of Lancaster, NY 14086.

We never sold house before and were very excited when Pam was assigned for our high-end house sale since we read a lot of positive reviews about her from the America's Choice website before. However, she totally disappointed us and we had to break the sale contract with her after 91 days. Lots of empty promises and ignorance on us. We only met her once for the whole 3-month period. She hardly responded to our emails and text messages (weekly or biweekly reminders of things she promised to do but never did). Only ONE open-house in 3 months. Four more houses were listed for sale on our street during this period but she never ran a listing report and told us what we should do in term of price adjustment. We also asked her to do a virtual tour in the very beginning. She ignored our requests for the first month and then said that she would do it when "I have a chance", but never did at all (we did most of the pictures of our house anyway). One neighbor's friend was interested to see our house and called the listed phone # on her signed and was told that our house was “under a contract" (??!). Our MLS listing could not be found on the national/local MLS listing. We were so depressed for 3 months due to lack of communication with her and guidance on what to do with our house sale. Hiring America’s Choice was a big mistake for us because their agent did not do anything else besides showing house because they charge a lower commission (2.5%; but we still pay another 2.5% if another agent brings the buyer). Oh, by the way, our house was listed “for closure” on the very first day, and every week we had to raise her sale sign up because it kept falling down on the ground.

It is unfortunate this homeowner wrote this inaccurate and mean spirited review because her home was only worth a fraction of her asking price which I advised her of at our first meeting. I had comparable homes in the area and advised this homeowner that the range should be in the 350's, however the homeowner said she had lots of upgrades and felt the home should be listed for 388,000. Ultimately, this homeowner listed with another agent & just lowered the price consistently - in the end the home sold for $334,500. Clearly this is a case of the homeowner being angry at the market & directing it towards me. I believe we could have sold this house for $20K more than she received had she taken my advice from day 1. Sometimes it is hard to be the bearer of reality.

Pam is amazing and anyone needing to buy or sell should use Pam (and her team). She's responsive, kind, hard working and theres always a feeling that shes going out of her way for us. I'm confident that all of her clients would say the same thing!

We've not only found an amazing realtor, we've found a new friend in the process. Pam, you rock!!

Starting with assisting in preparing my home for sale and ending with a bid in record time, Pam provided outstanding service at all times. She shared resources for repairs, floor covering, and cleaning as I relocated to Florida from Amherst, NY. Astoundingly, my home was listed on a Monday shortly after previous tenants had vacated and we had a viable bid that Saturday. Pam worked with me to make sure the closing proceeded smoothly and stayed in contact as various documents were needed. Thank you Pam for being the consummate professional during a trying time in my life!

Sold a home in 2012 in Wendelville, North Tonawanda, NY 14120.

I feel very fortunate to have had Pam as our realtor. She spent a lot of time with my husband and I to ensure we made the best decisions while selling and buying our new home. Pam went above and beyond her duties as a realtor to show us available homes on the market in a timely fashion and to ensure we were comfortable with the purchase of our home. What I appreciated the most was her patience and honesty. She helped us save a ton of money as well! If I ever need a realtor again in the future, I will be calling Pam Kohrn and others should too!
