Not nearly as disturbing as our politicians, telivision news commentators, and the thousands of pages of State & Federal Law; especially when read in context and with historical perspective.

Q & A Section Changes

Reply
I'm still waiting to be able to see all 75 questions that suposedly were asked about my house.  Your system still is limiting the viewing of questions to only the most recent 25.  It is impossible to answer a question if I can't see it!!!!!!!!! I also want to see all those hundreds of answers that supposedly were given (According to the info Zillow posts about the Q&A) since I can only see the answers for the most recent 25 questions. I thing your counter must have major problems since I don't even believe there are more than 25 questions or more than 40 answers.  I think you are just making up the numbers randomly since there is absolutely no way to get to these "imaginary" questions!!!!!!!! I've been complaining about this problem for well over 8 months, and still no solution! WHY even have questions and answers if and a counter if the counter data is wrong and there is no way to see the questions or answers?

Why was discussion post hour and minute data deleted?
It was helpful to know when posts were made when made the present day.You used to provide number of minutes ago if the post was within 2 hours of present time, and provide # hours ago if it was posted the same day; Now we only see the date of the post. Why can't see the time of the post too?

Discussion post hour and minute data
I miss the hour and minute data that used to be provided for recent (same day) posts. Why did you get rid of it?  Why don't you display the post time?

Post time no longer displaying
Something "broke" this week on the Zillow Discussions.  You used to have the post time indicated for posts made the same day.Now you only have the date indicated and no time of post provided. Please add the display of the time each post was made back.

What's w/ the date thing and no time stamp?

Reply
I just posted 3 threads on the subject (suggestions, bugs, discussions) before realising that threads were already started on the subject. I don't like it either and I've seen no Zillow answer yet!

It also helps determine if people are presently on line and posting and if they follow normal sleep patterns, what side of the country they are likely on. Besides, it is much easier to read "5 minutes ago" than a date and trying to compare it with today's date. It is nice that the format is consistent; but it really should not be hard to add the time.  There is plenty of room on that line.

A handful of State judges can unilaterally change the internal revenue code???

But if the issue is "discrimination", then it is the Internal Revenue Code that needs to be changed to allow joint filing; not state licencing; and that requires congressional debate; which is what is missing. In California, the only thing that will change is a term "civil union" will be replaced with "civil marrage"; with no difference in how people are treated nor their benifits.  (Joint property laws may make property transfer upon death a bit easier than the extra paperwork presently required).  They still will not be "husband and wife".  And literature will be confused since "spouse" will no longer imply a person of the opposite sex, and issues of who biological parents are may get even more confused. And eventually people will sue 501C3 non-profit organizations that have staff  licenced by the State to preform weddings based on "discrimination"; which will be a violation of First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution since we are supposed to be granted freedom of religious beliefs with no interference of the State. The word "marriage" is just a "word", and since it is ILLEGAL for "wife & wife" to file a joint federal tax return, redefining the word just muddies the process. Besides, the Koran states that EACH man can have up to 4 wives, thus the California present definition of "marriage" is STILL discrimination.  And for gender equality, each woman should also be allowed up to 4 husbands.  But does this mean that a family of 16 adults can file joint tax returns? And what about the person that wants to marry their 12 cats to file a joint tax return to lower their taxes?  This really needs to be discussed by the legislative body rather than by Judges in individual states!

By the way, this website is also discriminitory against the visually impaired as many of the buttons do not have "alt-text" for screen readers, and many of the features cannot be accessed without a "pointing device" (mouse...).  For example the "submitt" button for these "posts" cannot be reached with a "tab" key or any other method, and there is no "alt-text" to even identify the submit if one can't see the "submit" graphic that is NOT text! I should file a $500,000,000 class action law suit against Zillow for this unjust and abusive discrimination against hundreds of my friends and relatives, but I don't have the money to do so. But I'm glad that the courts have finally decided that our paper money is "illegal" since it disciminates against the blind, and thus all paper money will have to be redesigned now so that I can finally identify it in the dark without using my money identifier and without special folding or punching holes, or using my braille slate to mark Braille numbers.

Jennifer - If you have been filling out your 1040 form by yourself for the past few decades, you would know why joint filing is benificial when filing WITH those that have no income.  You would also know the "spouse" is an "exemption", just like "self" and "dependents", presently worth $3400 reduction in federal taxes each in addition to the "income averaging". You would also know that filing with a large number of cats listed as "dependents" is not new; it has been done (late 1970's I believe), and it took awhile for the IRS to catch up with it.  But if marriage is "discriminitory", and a person can marry whom they choose as long as an "adult", then cats must qualify too; thus getting around the "dependent" issue by declaring the cat as a spouse. No one is talking about "slippery slope" besides YOU; I'm talking about how my muslim friends are still being discriminated against, and how my blind friends are discriminted  against, and how Judges think they can re-write laws anyway they like, but that I still get called into the IRS office on more than one occassion for following the letter of the law and paying my full taxes and reporting my full income.   By the way, I don't know why the ADA does not require talking PED buttons at all major street crossings, but it is very unsafe not to have them, and it is discriminitory to not have them.  At least Pasadena has about a dosen or so intersection with them now, but CalTrans still will not let the city put them in on Lake Avenue at the Freeway off & on ramps where they are needed most!
