Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $125K in Mustang, OK.
I didn't know Pat personally, she was referred by my previous mortgage lender to help me with a short sale. We didn't end up doing the short sale, but I told her for her patients and willingness to explain everything to me so I could understand it I would be back when ready to buy a home.
We just closed on our new home in April, 2015.
I called Pat up and said I'm ready to buy. A member of her staff, Liz, contacted me. She sent me emails with houses on the market that fit the location and criteria I gave her. After selecting the house to view, between the both of them I was helped step by step through the whole process. It truly helped the purchase be stress free.
There were times I felt we couldn't buy the home because of all the things found in the inspection. We met with Pat and agreed on what we could and couldn't live with. She negotiated our terms successfully. There was never a moment I felt lost in the process because she made it simple.
Thanks Pat, Larry & I truly appreciate all you did.
My husband and I just closed on our first home and used Liz Kerran, member of Pat Slack's team. I could not be happier! From the first time I reached out to Liz until we closed was a span of several months. Throughout that process, everything Liz told us was spot on. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient each and every time we were in contact. Once we found our house, Pat was a tremendous help in the negotiating and closing. Pat has put together a fantastic team that truly knows what they are doing and made our first purchase a smooth and enjoyable process. Thank you!
Sold a home in 2012 in Waterloo, Edmond, OK 73034.
Pat Slack and Eric Beard have helped me purchase several houses over the past two year. I have purchased HUD and other foreclosures and housed from individuals. They have been very knowledgeable about the markets and have provided good advice. They keep my goals and limitations in mind and have recommended several homes that have been a good fit for me. They are particularly knowledgable with foreclosures and familiar with what lenders are seeking as they dispose of their reposessions. Their office staff is very professional and keeps the process and paperwork moving forward. They have also been very helpful providing insight into repairs and local service providers. I have been very pleased with the service they have provided. I will definitely continue to work with them in the future.
Pat Slack has been our realtor through four transactions. She made us feel so comfortable about making such a big decision. She is patient and kind. She really listens to you. But more that any thing else she is knowledgable. She gives you options throughly explaining possible solutions. During our last move, we went to Disney World for two weeks right in the middle of negotations. That is how comfortable we felt with her having it all under control. Thanks Pat! We love you!
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Edmond, OK.
My wife and I worked with Eric, when buying our most recent house. We found a wonderful home in Edmond and couldn't be happier with how it all went. Eric was patient and very helpful throughout the process. Pat also helped us out with some details that helped us sell our old house. The house we sold was listed with another Realtor (since it wasn't in this area), but Pat was still happy to help us out and answer any questions I had.
Eric and Pat are both very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone buying (or selling) in this area.

"Not only did I get an excellent Realtor, but I got your dedication, both in a personal manner as well as professionally. You stuck with me even when I was unsure of which state I would wind up in. I am very grateful for your dedication & patience with my first home purchase. I will be recommending you to anyone I know buying or selling a home. I could not have been more impressed with your advice, help, and overall guidance through the whole process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My wife and I consider you a new friend and you’re welcome in our home any time . Thanks again."
Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $500K in Edmond, OK.
Excellent job by Pat and her team! Pat Slack and Eric Beard helped us find our new home and were with us every step of the way until we closed. They were always available to answer any questions we had and even helped us deal with a slower than expected lender. We will definitely be calling Pat Slack for our next purchase.

I recently purchased a home in Fenwick from the Pat Slack team, and let me just say that it was as pleasurable an experience as one could expect when it comes to home buying. Eric Beard paid close attention to our housing needs, notified us personally of when a new house hit the market, or a prospective house had a price reduction. My wife and I looked at a total of 17 houses in the Edmond area, and Eric personally drove us to each house. (I can only imagine the amount of money we saved in gas!) Along the way Eric gave us background information about the neighborhood and ammenities, what schools our children would be attending and the local shops that were close by. My wife and I even looked at one house 4 times before we decided that it was not going to be a good fit for are growing family of four. Pat and Eric also did a wonderful job throughout the negotiation process, one that was more stressful than I would like to remember. We finally decided on a house in Fenwick, and Eric negotiated the seller down $2500 after the house had been on the market for over sixty days. He even got them to pay half of the closing cost which both my parents and my wifes parents thought was crazy! Any time someone I know is in the market for a house, I immediately give them Pat Slacks name, encourage them to ask for Eric Beard, because he did a spectacular job! A heartfelt thank you to the Pat Slack Team and especially Eric Beard from myself, my wife and children.
My husband and I used her as our realtor last year. Our biggest complaint was that she did not have our best interest in mind & we felt like we could have gotten a better deal on the house we bought. We felt like her and Eric Beard were trying to pressure us into buying the house. They told us that they just listed a foreclosed home and we should put in an offer as quickly as possible because it will sell very quickly. Being new buyers, we believed them. After we moved in, our neighbors told us that the house had been foreclosed for almost 3 years... so essentially, they lied to our faces. Pat and her team are very greedy in the sense that the reason that they wanted to sell the home was because they were the listing agent & the realtor, so they were making double the profit on the sale. When we told them the offer we wanted to put down initially with the bank, Pat in a very disapproving tone of voice said that the bank "will not" accept our offer. A day later, we find out that the bank had accepted our offer. At this point we were very leery of her, but we couldn't change realtors because we had put down $1000 earnest money & signed paperwork saying that we could only use her to buy this particular house....We didn't want to lose that money. We would never use her or recommend her to anyone. We also expressed our disappointment in her via an email to her a few months before the closing. Instead of trying to somehow reconcile things with us, she got very defensive and tried to make us feel like we didn't know what we were talking about. We love our home, but we feel like we could have easily gotten another $5K off the asking price, but she made us feel like we were being ridiculous. She also lied and told us that the bank would pay for the closing costs, but the week before the closing, we find out that we would have to pay for half of the closing costs. We never understood that and when she "tried" to explain, she started talking with all the real estate jargon and confused us to the point that we just wanted the whole thing to be over with and never see her again. My husband said he wouldn't even recommend Pat Slack to his worst enemy. A real estate agent should help make the house buying process smoother, and after everything was said and done, we felt like we would have been better off not using an agent and dealing with the bank directly. Good luck to you all future home buyers!!
