Obtaining a home loan (especially as first-time buyers like we were) can be a confusing, uncertain, and an involved process. But Paul always laid out information in a way that was neutral, straight-forward, and easy to digest. He never hesitated to explain things to me two, three, or even four times; for example when I couldn't get a handle on how an interest rate floats down. He's lightening fast with e-mail and teamed up seamlessly with our real estate agent to close the deal on our house. There are so many uncertainties floating in the ether when you're trying to close on a house and wondering if your mortgage loan officer will hand in your paperwork on time shouldn't be one of them. He also always kept us in the loop of what was coming next in the process, which again, if you're new to buying a home you'll be unsure of. The best part of the whole experience was that when the deal was done we truly felt like we got what we wanted in all aspects of the home buying process. Is it silly to say the process was fun? Maybe so, but I really enjoyed working with Paul and I'd definitely work with him again.
