If I have to choose one word to describe Paul Thibodeau, that word is "professional". Paul listed and sold our home in 3 weeks, and while we were thrilled with the short process, it was the manner of professionalism that Paul exhibited which made us feel so good about the transaction. Anytime things were happening at the home, Paul kept us totally informed, before and after. He communicated via text, emails and phone calls. We felt that he knew the area and priced the house fairly to sell. Other folks we initially interviewed promised higher prices, but we could tell that the actual market would not support those inflated values. Paul did whatever needed to be done to make it happen, and I felt he was working for us and not just because it was a job. Paul would be my ONLY choice to buy or sell a home in the part of New Hampshire.

When our family began to plan a move from Boston to NH, I looked at reviews of realtors in the NH Seacoast area. Paul was right at the top of the list, and as we came to discover over the course of the coming months, for good reason. Paul’s knowledge of the area, past building expertise, patience and professionalism left us not only with a house that we love in an area that is perfect for our family, but also a friend and resource for years to come. We came to Paul with a budget (which we changed on him several times) an idea of a few towns where we might want to live, and closing date on our current house looming before us. He was always there for us to discuss options, and his years of building experience came to the forefront on several occasions when we were considering “fixer-uppers.” He has an eye for details that only someone with a great deal of experience can provide. He (thankfully) helped us to think twice about hasty decisions, educated us to better understand the seacoast communities, and was always available to help us see houses, talk about finances, or quell moments of panic. On many occasions, we commented about how glad we were that Paul was on our side. When we finally found the perfect house, Paul’s detailed analysis of comparable properties and his assessment of our particular offer helped us to buy the house for a price that we still can’t quite believe. He lead the closing process with aplomb, including pointing out a building code issue that others had missed, which led to a credit toward repairs. He connected us with a reliable attorney, has endless building contacts, and is happy to help brainstorm ways to really make a house special. If we ever decide to move from our new house (not for a long time, I hope!), we hope Paul will help us with selling it to the right family.
