All you need to do is contact a Realtor and they can go over all that information with you. If you want to do it on your own, you can look up property taxes for your state on the state's web site.Thank you,Peggy Lyn

The Zestimate is a starting point in figuring out the true value of a house. For one thing, the amount of data Zillow has affects the Zestimate accuracy. If your home facts are incorrect, you can update your facts, which may affect your Zestimate value. Also, Zillow has never been to your house, never seen your expertise with colors and landscaping. So they've given you a way to consider them (and other things) in calculating a home's value. Use the My Estimator tool to create your own estimate. If you are estimating your own house, you can even make your estimate public, which is extremely valuable if you're posting your home for sale.
Once you sign in and register, simply type in your address in the search field, click on your address on the map, then click "Edit" on the menu bar and there should be an option to claim your property. You will go through an easy process where you can claim your home by name verification or with official documentation.
If a real estate agent listed your property, the address is information is pulled from the local MLS, which, generally, pulls the information from your tax records. If you listed your property, information can be changed using the Edit function after clicking on Listings from the MyZillow tab.Peggy Lyn SpeicherRE/MAX Realty Centre, Inc.[link removed by moderator]
Mike,The best and most accurate way to determine a home's current value is through a real estate agent or an appraiser. That agent can run the comps in your area and let you know what the current market says.Peggy Lyn SpeicherRE/MAX Realty Centre, Inc.www.PeggyLyn.com
