It was my first home purchase, and she walked me through all the steps expertly. She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and persistent to make my purchase happen in spite of incredible odds against it. But what made me choose to use her again, eight years later when I wanted to sell that same apartment, was her honesty. I trusted her to run open houses in my home without me there. I trusted her to market to potential buyers to make the best deal possible. I knew she had my back. Working with her, I felt like we were a team, on the same side. Sometimes, her honesty was tough to hear (like the suggestion to declutter my apartment to make it more sellable), but her ideas come from a place of deep knowledge and experience. She knows her field. She knows what she’s doing. And when I listened to her, magical things happened! I got a buyer for my coop and was thrilled. She warned me that there was a good chance the deal would not go through. Disregarding her, I made plans to move and put an offer on another home. As she predicted, the buyer fell through. I was devastated at the idea of losing my dream house in another state – that seller had accepted my offer, contingent upon this coop’s sale. WITHIN THREE DAYS, Jacqueline had secured another buyer for my coop, a more viable one. I was floored. All this time, she had continued to market to prospective buyers, just in case. She had my back. And she was right. It still feels like a miracle when I walk around my dream house. I know that I would not be living there without Jacqueline’s thoughtful mind, quick-thinking, experience, back-up plans, and old fashioned diligence. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to work with a straight shooter who gives care, true effort, and hard work rather than lip service.

Wanted to look at a property for me and my family on Halsey St. in Brooklyn. We had not been pre-approved for our mortgage yet but I told her that we would be approved in a couple of days. She said that she would not show us the property and to call her back when we are approved. Well, we were approved actually the NEXT day and we found another house and agent!

I always advice everyone to be pre approved so we are certain about price range. I believe that is a good practice & stand by it for two reasons (1) did U know most sellers want to view the pre approval with the offer made on their home. It gives them some sense the house wont be tied up in preliminary paperwork for no reason. (2) the pre approval allows the agent & U to negotiate the price of the home to your benefit so U are not financially strapped for cash at the closing table. U got a home.
