After graduation from the Haas School of Business at the University of California/ Berkeley. Perry moved to Colorado as an Army officer and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver, after which he practiced law for 28 years. Prior to obtaining his law degree, he worked for AT&T as a marketing manager. He has been a licensed real estate broker since 1997., and joined Devonshire in 2000.
Perry has been involved in nationwide acquisitions and sales of both residential and commercial real estate, and has done some international work as well. Beginning in 1985, and while in private practice, he began representing clients of Coldwell Banker Devonshire as an attorney in a wide variety of transactions, including zoning and subdivision matters before various state and local boards and commissions, thus giving him a diverse background and significant knowledge of the southern part of the greater metropolitan Denver area, where his primary focus remains. Perry has represented developers and investors in the acquisition, development and marketing of real estate, including a prestigious 240 acre custom home community. He has the unique ability to represent the entire market—from the first time homebuyer to the large estate buyer as well as real estate developers and investors with unique tax problems. He has significant experience in tax-free exchanges.
He has been a member of the Sterling Society and has received the Coldwell Banker International President's Diamond Award for his outstanding sales results. He was recognized as being the 14th highest producing broker for Coldwell Banker in Colorado in 2008.
