Summary:

I found Robert through Zillow and he offered me the most competitive refinance rate. I was circumspect of using a lender online and residing in a different state. The reviews on Zillow and Roberts responsiveness convinced me to go ahead. I was looking for a true no cost loan and Robert came through as promised. The lenders he uses were thorough and required good documentation and verification of income. However the result was a great rate and a quick closing. While other lenders were taking several weeks to appraise the property, Robert was able to close the loan quickly in a busy refinancing environment. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a native and life-long resident of Connecticut, and completed my education with a B.S. in Economics from Trinity College, in Hartford CT.

As President of my company, I have positioned Polaris in such a way to allow for extremely competitive rates and closing costs to our cliental. As a result of our low rates and closing costs, we consistently close multi-million dollar volume each month.

Although our main office is located in central Connecticut, I am especially active working with clients in the metro-Boston area, in addition to Southern Florida (Miami), and travel quite frequently to meet my clients' needs.

My staff and I hope to have the opportunity to work closely with you from our initial contact to closing!

My hardworking parents immigrated from Europe and raised me in a very strict fashion. I began my college studies as a pre-med student, but soon realized I loved Economics and business-related material because I was a "numbers guy". I put myself through college by working for Aetna Ambulance as an Emergency Medical Technician for 4 years. Screaming through the streets of Hartford with lights and sirens by night, classes and studies by day!

After college, I found myself working for a large national mortgage lender,
and then in a regional mortgage brokerage firm, learning the residential financing business. Within a few years I founded my first mortgage company with a partner. I quickly learned why most business partnerships do not work out, and founded Polaris Funding Group in 2007.

Currently, I spend time growing my mortgage company, as well as my insurance agency, Polaris Insurance.

Personal hobbies include ballroom dancing for 8 years now with my wife, Monika, long distance running (15-20 miles per week), and playing my guitar with everything from Spanish guitar pieces by Francisco Tarrega, to classic rock arrangements by the Beatles. I used to be involved in mixed martial arts and full-contact kick-boxing. I also have a two year old daughter, Isabella, who is the love of my life, and has me wrapped around her little pinkie.

Polaris Insurance is a sister company to Polaris Funding Group, and is an independant insurance agency, directly appointed to represent Traveler's, Progressive, Middlesex Mutual (MiddleOak), MetLife, Dairyland, as well as other major insurance carriers.
