short sell?

Response
Short Sales are not for everybody. I have a SFR.. it was a joke. Any realtor not getting 50 on 50 on that test should not be given the SFR.Focus on referrals and ask for references.. bottom line.. talk to people that just did a short sale and ask how their Realtor was.

What about loan modification for an unemployed person that collects benefits and has a part-time job

Answer
first thing.. find out if your loan is owned by Fannie or Freddie.. as they have standards for modification that have to be followed.. check making home affordable website. Also, don't listen to the crap they say, "miss a payment and we will modify", i talk to home owners everyday that took that advise and it was downhill from there. And a modification, if done correctly should not take 12 months.Sorry you are in this position, if you genuinely want to keep your home, contact your lender right away. And please do not pay anyone to do your modification, specially attorneys -_-[Contact info deleted by moderator]
