Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $575k in Huntington Station, NY.

Summary:

If you want your home to be sold choose Glen Hagen as your real estate agent. He is qualified, knowledgeable, and extremely hardworking. He is also resourceful. Glen takes advantage of the internet by posting pictures/video of the homes so that potential buyers can view them from the comfort of their own homes. Glen was so helpful and accommodating. I cannot count the times he has helped me out by stopping by the house when I could not go because of distance. I am so grateful.

Glen is an agent who is on top of everything. He was always in constant communication with me throughout the whole process.

Glen deserves a medal for his excellent work. He gave his all.

Thanks a lot Glen! Hilda

Hilda, Thank you for the glowing review... Selling real estate can be a confusing and stressful process unless you have a trusty guide to lead you along the way. I am grateful you chose and trusted me to get the job done. It was my pleasure working with you on this transaction! Call me anytime as I want you to consider me your realtor for life...

Sold a home in 2011.

Summary:

It is advised that when choosing a Qualified Real Estate Agent to list your home with, interview as many as possible. Always remember that you are hiring someone to work for you. If he or she wants the job, they must meet you expectations. Choose an agent who listens to your needs and takes the time to explain things you might not understand. Choose an agent that handles homes in your price range. Choose an agent who works on your time schedule Choose an agent who can and will provide other services. There's more to being a real estate agent other than simply being qualified.

I chose Glen Hagen (aka Glen ) because he also met all of my other than listed expectations. I felt comfortable that MY agent would be working hard for me. Glen will be in constant communications with you throughout the entire process.

I chose wisely.

Thanks again Glen. You were right from the very beginning.

Thank you for the kind words and time you took to write them. I enjoyed working with you and your wife and was glad I could help you move on with your plans. In a successful real estate transaction it takes multiple points of cooperation, contact and trust! I'm glad we had such a positive outcome and thank you for placing your belief and trust in me.

Hi, I'm Glen Hagen, an e-PRO Realtor aligned with Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate for nearly 10 years. Prior to engaging in real estate, I was employed by Fortune 500 advertising agencies and media companies before changing over to sales manager for two Internet companies (.coms). I've personally negotiated sales contracts in excess of 100 million dollars. I am an e-PRO, a designation afforded less than 4% of all Realtors and assures you I'm Internet savvy.

Where are today's buyers coming from?
Although 90% of all home buyers used the Internet to search for homes, (2009 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers) it is important to realize the Internet is only a tool... It is how the tool is used that differentiates Realtors: What quality and quantity photographs were utilized? Who took the photographs? Was there a virtual tour? Was the virtual tour narrated and scripted? Who composed and who narrated the script? Was a floor plan of the property provided? What web sites displayed the information?

All Realtors in New York State have little in common: just 45 hours (75 hours since June 2008) of course completion and passing an exam. To be a Realtor, you do not need: computer literacy; sales or marketing experience; to work full-time; a high school education; a full grasp of the English language; or your own web site! Therefore, all Realtors are not really equal! Whom you select to market and sell your home can make the difference between total satisfaction and complete frustration.

If you are considering buying or selling a home or would just like to have additional information about real estate in your area, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me, without any obligation, of course!
