Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $225k in Gatewood, Seattle, WA.Summary:
Tyler was reccommended to us by friends, saying that he was an excellent advisor through their year of being thwarted at every turn by banks, inept sellers and general purchasing craziness before finally getting their dream house. Our overall buying experience could not have been more different from theirs, but Tyler served us just as well. We found the house we wanted to buy on our second trip out to look, and moved in literally less than a month later. Throughout our quick and generally painless buying process, Tyler was always very responsive to questions, quick to laugh about bad houses (like the one that had each room about to fall down in a different direction) and never pressured us to look at a house that was above our means or outside our preferred neighborhoods. Thanks to him we got into our house quickly and with a minimum of stress, and we love it!…More Less

Thank you, "Fizz", for the kind remarks. I'm so fortunate to enjoy a continuing stream of terrific clients. It was a joy working with you both.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $325k in Columbia City, Seattle, WA.Summary:
As first-time home buyers, we were looking for an agent who could help us through the entire process of researching, selecting, and financing a home. Tyler met and far exceeded our expectations and hopes for an agent. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us find the perfect home for our needs. At the same time, he is a fantastic listener and was able to adapt his process and the focus of his research as our understanding of our own needs evolved. Finally, he is a very skilled negotiator who is able to read a situation and craft a respectful, compelling, situation-appropriate response that enabled us to easily win our multiple-offer situation.
I would recommend Tyler to any of my friends and family who are searching for a home, particularly those who are completely new to the market. He not only provided phenomenal service as an agent but he also brought solid connections to other very capable professionals who shepherded us through the many complex aspects of purchasing a first home.
In conversations with other friends who have recently purchased homes, I know home-buying can often be a very stressful, unpleasant process. Our home-buying experience was great because of Tyler's professionalism, sincerity, and dedication to getting people into the best home for their needs.…More Less

Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $400k in Capitol Hill, Seattle, WA.Summary:
I'll skip right to the bottom line: if you're buying a home you absolutely want Tyler on your side, no question.
As a first time home buyer I knew there would be a lot to learn, especially with the market the way it's been lately, but there's no way I could have been prepared for the 14 months of craziness we went through. Between duplicitous sellers, short sales that seemed to drag on forever waiting for lien holder responses, nearly bankrupt HOAs, and an absolutely crazy appraisal revision I feel like we went through just about everything that could have gone wrong when looking for a home.
Through it all Tyler worked hard to keep us safe, calm, and in the strongest position possible. He was consistently a pleasure to work with and he always pursued our interests relentlessly. Perhaps best of all Tyler was constantly educating us about the process of buying a home so that at every twist and turn of the path we knew exactly what was happening and why.
When things are going well you want to have a good agent, but when things are going poorly you need to have an excellent agent. Tyler is like a real estate commando: prepared for anything, 100% committed to getting the job done, and a consummate professional. I cannot recommend him highly enough. So I'll say it again: if you're buying a home you absolutely want Tyler on your side, no question.…More Less
