Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $300K in Crown Hill, Seattle, WA.

Summary:

As first time home buyers, we came to the home buying process with a lot of enthusiasm, but no experience. We learned about Tyler through the recommendation of our mortgage broker who simply said that he was fantastic, and that they had a perfect closing record with him.

When we first met Tyler we were not sure what to expect. Was he going to be a teddy bear and hand holder who guided our every step? No. Tyler has more tiger then teddy bear in him. He is an uncompromising professional who takes this business very seriously, and asks his clients to do the same. He went above and beyond to make sure we were always making well informed decisions. Tyler has assembled an amazing team around him to make sure his clients are well taken care of at every step, from inspection to escrow everyone seems to be at the top of their game.

Once we found the perfect home, Tyler helped us make all the right decisions to put ourselves in the best possible position to get the house. He worked tirelessly through the offer and ensuing bidding war, but never pressured us to go past our comfort zone. He just asked us to realistically look at how much we wanted this house. In the end his advice paid off, and we got the house.

We highly recommend Tyler to anyone out there looking for their first home…or their next home.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Bitter Lake, Seattle, WA.

Summary:

After a few weeks of carefully exploring my options, I had almost settled on a beautiful North Seattle duplex. Then news came in from the seller's agent: another party might be submitting an offer on the property tomorrow!

Tyler and I worked late into the night, designing our own competitive yet affordable bid.

As it turns out, the other party made a slightly higher offer; but we made the better offer. Writing to you now from my home office, within a beautiful North Seattle duplex, I give Tyler McKenzie my fullest endorsement.

Thank you for this terrific review. What is especially gratifying is having achieved such a successful outcome for you especially in light of a higher competing offer. Preparation and presentation remain the key. Enjoy your new home....and home office.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $225K in Gatewood, Seattle, WA.

Summary:

Tyler was reccommended to us by friends, saying that he was an excellent advisor through their year of being thwarted at every turn by banks, inept sellers and general purchasing craziness before finally getting their dream house. Our overall buying experience could not have been more different from theirs, but Tyler served us just as well. We found the house we wanted to buy on our second trip out to look, and moved in literally less than a month later. Throughout our quick and generally painless buying process, Tyler was always very responsive to questions, quick to laugh about bad houses (like the one that had each room about to fall down in a different direction) and never pressured us to look at a house that was above our means or outside our preferred neighborhoods. Thanks to him we got into our house quickly and with a minimum of stress, and we love it!More Less
