Think you can save money by house-hunting on your own, and asking the seller for a discount since you're not represented by a Realtor? Guess what? You'll double the listing agent's commission! You still will not get a discount.
Remember: A Listing Agent's job is to get the BEST price for the SELLER. If the listing agent is representing BOTH the buyer and the seller, the listing agent's agenda is STILL, to get the BEST price for the SELLER.
