Sure, I'm chatty and gregarious with the people skills expected of most agents in the biz. But what sets me apart from the rest is my history.
In a past life, I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history and a knack for analytical research. I applied my god-given talents to a library science career at the Smithsonian Institution, and then Northwestern University. There, on the National Mall and the Evanston Lakefill, I tapped my inner techie—supplementing my analytical skills with those of geekdom. My enthusiasm coupled with my powers of analysis and technology give me an unfair advantage over the competition.
With discerning analysis, I deliver market research that my clients herald as singular. As their deal progresses, this also gives them confidence in pricing and an edge in negotiations. Perhaps this is why the lion's share of my business is unsolicited referrals and repeat clients, like this one:
"We worked with Rachel to purchase a new condominium unit and found her to be a tireless researcher and effective negotiator on our behalf. She also successfully rented one of our rental units to excellent tenants at a rent higher than we would have asked. We'll definitely be working with her again!" - Morris, Near North Side

Of course, my technological skills are invaluable in this electronic age of real estate—where 90% of buyers start their home search on the internet. A modern agent must know their internet audience; market to it; relate to it; and crunch the numbers to analyze the forthcoming data. This is where my 7-year information science career comes in handy.
As an added bonus to my clients, my son has schooled me in his "take no prisoners" brand of bargaining, honing my negotiation skills razor sharp. Our family stomping grounds are Edgewater and Evanston, but I enjoy professional success on any turf.
To top it off, I'm legit! I hold an Illinois real estate license, serve as members of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, and am proud to be a Zillow Premier Agent. Working for @properties means I have the force of Chicago's top-producing real estate firm as my tail wind.
Now enough about me, let's talk about you...
