I could write a book talking about how wonderful Bill is. But what it comes down to is that he is the perfect combination of professional and personable. He did a wonderful job explaining everything to us and making sure we understood each step while buying a home. We never felt rushed while searching for a home, but we also never felt like we were wasting our time or his time. When we finally purchased a home he went above and beyond to make sure we got into it quickly. He has a fun outgoing personality and was a joy to be around.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 in Johnson City, TN.
It was me and my wife's first home and we didn't know anything about anything as far as buying a home and Bill answered all our questions and made the whole buying experience great. We found the house from the internet and it was a for sale by owner deal and we asked Bill if we could still use him for the buying process and sure enough it went well. Once we found the house and made the decision everything was taken care of buy him and the bank. Really easy process. I can't say anything bad about Bill. The man is right there with you every step of the way. Good dude, great realtor, highly recommended.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $900K in Johnson City, TN.
Bill Hall is a true professional. He understands the local market, but just as important, he understands what his clients want. He then combines both to focus his and his client's energy where they merge, leading to an effective and efficient experience.
We have bought two houses and sold two houses thru Bill. He created a lot of value ensuring we got a favorable price in each situation. The last house we bought had been taken off the market. He new it was what we wanted and pursued the opportunity until we closed on the house. This was done while we were transitioning a family with 3 small children from China where we had few opportunities to iterate multiple visits and close on the house. We closed in 3 weeks after I learned we were relocating.
Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Bluff City, TN.
Bill met with us and helped me decide what improvements were must haves before listing. After two weeks of preparations (during which Bill never pressured us to hurry) we listed our home. Had a showing the next day but ended up with our first offer (who ended up buying our home) after three days! Bill was great with helping us choose a price that worked for us but stayed reasonable for our area. He helped me to display our home for maximum interest and never made me feel like we couldn't live there during the process. Negotiating was great. I trusted his thoughts and he went above and beyond for us. We love Mr. Bill as our kids say!
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $350K in Johnson City, TN.
Bill was assigned as my real estate agent by a relocation company because my job had brought me to Tri-Cities area. Within two weeks, we came to do our house hunting with Bill. Leading up to this, Bill was on the phone with my wife and I at various hours of the day including on weekends providing advice. He encouraged us to first just look online at house and send him the listings that we liked and he would arrange all the showings. We viewed many homes over a 1 day period, over which he better understood what we were looking for out of our future home. He recommended showing us a house we had not chosen from online listings on Day 2. We loved the home, but wanted to see if anything else was out there so Bill took us to visit the rest of the houses on the list. He took us to see our top 2 on Day 3 before making an offer on the house he had recommended. He guided us away from houses he knew we wouldn't like, found us the house we couldn't find on our own, and his outgoing personality made it a fun experience.
We negotiated a reasonable price for the home based on how we saw the market, but our appraisal came in much lower. Bill successfully negotiated with the other party to accept the appraisal so that we wouldn't have to pay out of pocket to close the transaction. So we got the home we wanted at significantly less money than we expected. Bill referred us to an excellent mortgage broker, Lanisa Wilson at Stonegate Mortgage, who was very competitive, but company relocation perks steered us towards another company. He also referred me to a contractor, who I still use today. Because I was moving from out-of-state, Bill handled all of the inspections prior to closing and even some of the contractor work I had done prior to moving in.
After closing, he even provided me all the info to transfer utilities and where I should buy furniture. Bill was really a full service real estate professional who got me the best deal on the best house, made my transition as smooth as possible, and a guy I would enjoy hanging out with as a friend.
I can't recommend Bill Hall enough to anyone buying or selling a home within Tri-Cities.
Bill will go the extra mile to get you the home you need. He stayed with it until we found the right home. He has an extensive list of contacts to help get the services you need as well as negotiating the best deal.
