Sold a home in 2014.
I had a condo in an association that was mostly rental units and required special financing for the buyer. Chris was very proactive and lined up a lender who could help out my buyer. He helped me get top dollar too by bringing in an excellent stager and photographer and I managed to get my condo under agreement just a few days after listing. He also quite helpful withy purchase of a single family which literally closed the same day as my sale. I almost waived my right to an inspection but Chris convinced me to do one and recommended a great inspector who found a few issues that Chris was able to use to negotiate a much lower price. With Chris, I feel like I didn't only get a realtor but a whole team of real estate professionals.

Bought a Cooperative home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Watertown, MA.
As first time home buyers in the competitive Boston area Real Estate market, my fiancé and I were lucky to have Chris working as our buyer’s agent. Though we started the home buying process with a (healthy) level of caution towards real estate agents, Chris quickly earned our trust. He did his best to ensure that we had all the information we needed to make informed decisions, while being very careful not to push any opinions onto us (unless we specifically asked for them).

With Chris, we never felt like we were being pushed through the buying process. In fact, on multiple occasions, it was he who kept us from making hasty decisions by pointing out drawbacks on properties that we hadn’t noticed or considered. It was valuable to have him visit homes with us: with a knack for home improvement, he knows what to look for and educated us on how to look and judge value for ourselves. Though he is the next best thing to a professional home inspector, he always advocates that his buyers play it safe and get third-party home inspections, despite the growing trend to waive them in this competitive market.

Chris maintains a large network of contacts that can be useful to his clients during and after the home buying process, including lenders, lawyers, and various home improvement professionals, some of which are former clients. Again, it’s worth emphasizing that his contacts are never pushed on you as a client, but we were very pleased with the contacts of his that we ended up using.

Chris is very genuine and personable, and he’s in Real Estate for the long haul. He wants his clients to be happy enough with the buying process that they recommend him for years to come, and we are happy to do so.

Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $375K in Roxbury, Boston, MA.
My husband and I were first time homebuyers, and can't recommend Chris highly enough. He explained the entire process of home-buying upfront (and walked us through the accompanying forms), so that we knew exactly what information and timelines to expect. When we were ready to make an offer on a place, Chris handled the negotiations with the selling agent and got us a better deal than we'd expected. He was always realistic with us about our options throughout the process, and never applied any pressure. He has an extensive network of professionals in the Boston area which you can tap into from knowing Chris – lawyers, inspectors, contractors, whatever you need. But the best part about Chris was how engaged and responsive he was. He typically responds to emails and texts within the hour. He shows up to every appointment - even crawling around with the inspector to ask questions which he can use later to negotiate your home price lower. He makes you feel like you are his only and most important client.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $425K in Reading, MA.
My fiancé and I were first time buyers and recently bought a single family house in Northwest of Boston! Chris was our agent!... Before signing up with a realtor, we wanted to have a better understanding of the market and did our research on local realtors. We had received a reference for Chris through a friend of a friend. We met with Chris in his office to discuss our situation and talk about our options. Chris was very informative of the process and was truly was interested in our goals. Chris is very down to earth and personable. We felt very comfortable with Chris's experience and knowledge of the market, process and industry. During the whole process, Chris was extremely flexible and accessible. Halfway through the process, our goals and interests had shifted to another market; Chris was responsive and adapted our needs. Chris was always willing to give his honest opinion and looking out for our best interests. If there is one thing that you should know about buying a house is that searching is only half the battle. Once we found our house there was still a lot more work to be done. This was unfamiliar territory us and very stressful, but Chris really excelled in the process of actually purchasing the house. Chris was great at negotiating with the seller's and making sure we were getting good value in this market. Chris work well in coordinating all of the paper work with our mortgage company, the attorneys and the sellers. Chris is very passionate about his job and the profession. We were very happy with the way things turned out and would highly recommend Chris as a realtor.

Bought a Condo home in 2014 in Belmont, MA.
Chris was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of being a homeowner and was helpful with his ability to point out flaws and/or advantages of each property (from appliances to the build/cosmetics). As a first time buyer who knew little about the whole process, he put me at ease. He was patient, but also eager enough to help me choose what was most ideal for me. The whole process went as smoothly as I could have asked for. Chris was quick to suggest anyone I needed, including an inspector and insurance agent. I trusted his opinions completely and would highly recommend his services to anyone!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $450K in Newton, MA.
Chris is a great guy; he is professional and very charismatic and more over very knowledgeable about the local area. We took a LONG time to make a decision and he was very patient with us during the whole process. Once we closed on the house, he was able to help us get us in touch with some of his local contractors to get some work done with reasonable prices. He is very involved thru the entire process and will work with you until you find the right fit for yourself. I have since recommend his services to friends and family and will be happy to work with him again in the near future for investment properties. I give him 5+ STARS!!!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $375K in North Billerica, MA.
As a first time home buyer, my fiancé and I had very little knowledge about the home buying process. We had no clue where to start so ended up asking our bank lender who recommended Chris Kostopoulos, a realtor he had used himself when purchasing homes in the past. Chris contacted us quickly and arranged for us to meet. He spent time listening to us, helping us figure out our non-negotiables, and explaining the process to us (and then re-explaining the parts that I had trouble understanding). My fiancé and I knew pretty much immediately that Chris was our guy.

Due in part to the market’s low inventory and in part to our obsessive need to see all our options, my fiancé and I looked at close to 40 homes in about 6 weeks time (mostly with Chris, but some open houses as well). Chris was able to help us assess the basic integrity of each home, as well as determine what work would need to be done. Having this input was particularly invaluable since we were looking at lower-end starter homes that would meet our modest budget.

When it came time to put an offer on what is now our new home, Chris moved quickly and strategically while being able to negotiate a lower price for us (even though we all thought the asking price was very reasonable). We so highly valued Chris’ opinion and trusted him that whenever we needed to bring in someone else (lawyer, inspector, etc) we asked him for and took his recommendation, and we were always very pleased with the outcome.

Our experience with Chris was wonderful! Not only is he great at his job, but he’s reliable, responsive and a joy to be around. We highly recommend Chris, and would no doubt use him again the next time around.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $275K in Taunton, MA.
For the past 8 years, my partner and I had been talking about buying our first house – but we never knew where to start. Buyer’s agents, seller’s agents, preapprovals, inspections – the list of things we needed to think about was overwhelming – especially when all we wanted to do was find the perfect first home for ourselves. I started by viewing a few houses on my own, but it always seemed like the agents were trying to talk me into buying the house with or without listening to any of my questions. Just when it seemed like we couldn’t trust anyone, we met Chris and everything changed. We started with a meeting at a local coffee shop during which we discussed openly and candidly what we were looking for in a home. Chris patiently listened and asked the perfect clarifying questions. For first time home buyers, it finally felt like someone was on our side. Chris was inexhaustible when it came to showing us properties. At one point, I even remember him getting a bee sting on the ear at the start of our day and he continued through to show us all the properties he selected that day – only to have us still say “not yet”. He must have happily shown us 20 options before we finally found the one we couldn’t walk away from. Once we finally picked the home, Chris couldn’t have been more helpful. He was instrumental in helping us find a mortgage company, inspectors, and arranging the best possible deal we could get on the house – including a deal for some of the furniture in the house too! I highly recommend Chris to anyone out there looking for a new home. He is a consummate professional, dedicated to staying informed in his field, and has the best skills and connections to get your deal done quickly and smoothly.

Bought a Multiple Occupancy home in 2012 in Medford, MA.
We purchased a multifamily investment property and it was a complicated process. It involved the removal of an oil tank and various other obstacles. Chris was instrumental in guiding us through these complications and protecting our interests. He is an amazing realtor and will always go above and beyond the line of duty for his client.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Quincy, MA.
Chis helped us a lot in finding that 'dream' house. He was able to find exactly what we were looking for and knows if a property was not for us. He explained the whole process of buying a home very well which made it a lot easier for us since it was our first time buying a house. Communication is key as well and it was very easy to call, email or even text him even in the late hours.

Very helpful and very, very patient and was clearly working in our interest. We highly recommend Chris if you are looking to buy or sell a house, very professional. Did I mention very patient?
