Working with Marcus to buy our first home was a great experience. We've felt incredibly well supported throughout every step of the buying process, and would definitely work with Marcus again to buy/sell a home in San Francisco. At the outset of our search, he not only made sure that he understood what we were looking for in a home, but also took the time to thoroughly educate us on the home buying process so that we would be comfortable with how things work, and be able to react quickly when needed in the fast paced San Francisco real estate market. The education on the market and the process proved invaluable. After less than two months of working with Marcus we won the second offer that we put in, by a relatively narrow margin. Marcus was always straight forward with us about what a home was likely to sell for, even if it was a higher price than what we thought it was worth, but we never felt pressured to put in an offer that we weren't comfortable with. He provided thorough details about recent comps so that we could make sure we were confident about our offer. He worked with whatever hours were convenient for us, even working with us to put together our winning offer while he was on vacation in Asia with his family. Our closing process with Climb was also very smooth. Marcus and his team ensured that all necessary documents were promptly and accurately completed and signed. When we ran into a problem with the lender we'd chosen, Marcus was very quickly able to refer us to a new lender. The new lender closed our mortgage in just 11 business days, and was able to get us a .25% better rate than the first lender we'd spoken with. I only with that we'd asked Marcus for a lender recommendation from the beginning! The San Francisco real estate market has been very competitive this spring, and having the right agent makes a big difference. I highly recommend using Marcus as your agent.
