If I understand you its a bank owned home, & the banks has no emotional attachment to the property, so your not going to offend anyone, if you don't ask you don't get. I would have no problem making that offer, If where individually owned, & it was not over priced I would advise you that the offer could offend the seller & they may not even counter, but as your agent I would write & present the offer for you regardless. 

I want to start blogging a little, but I'm not sure on what to put in the blogs, should it be only real estate related, or personal also. Any advice?

2 to 5days later, wow! ive never heard of a response that fast, your good! maybe 2 to 5 weeks if im lucky.

There are two agents in my office that have spouses that are physicians, I would put money on it that this is common across the country.

Wetdawgs hit the nail on the head! You should be able to show your home with short notice, in fact I just put one of my listings under contract last week & the buyers agent only gave 30min notice, their buyers loved the house. You never know, I have had clients that would not show on short notice & we missed showings because out of town buyers could not reschedule.  Bravo Way to network lenders!!!!
