Bought a home in 2012.
Monika was awesome throughout the home search to the closing all the way. She was extremely responsive and understanding.
Monika started her engagement with us with an introduction session, that told us all the ups and downs that we were going to face while looking for house in the Reston area. She also briefed us on expectations when offering on short sales and REO properties.
She kept us up to date and was aggressive when it came to negotiating contract. Towards the closing we had our shares of hiccups and she guided us through well, and worked with the listing agent to resolve all the issues nicely.
My wife and I will strongly recommend her to other buyers.

First off, I didn't know a thing about purchasing a new property when I came to her. I found her through Zillow, and gave her a call, and met with her a few days later. Immediately speaking with her, I felt like I was talking to family. I was pre-approved, and we began our search process.
Secondly, she helped me locate homes throughout a radius of where i was intending to purchase and showed me a range of what the offering was. Unlike most realtors, she does not shy away from short-sales! Most realtors in the area will not want to deal with the hassle. Monika's patience and understanding of the real estate market is MASTERFUL. She knows her stuff!
Lastly, she was wonderful when it came to finding a lender and coming to closing. Everything went smooth from our end.
