I am celebrating my 14th year assisting sellers and buyers in the Seattle real estate market. During my tenure I've managed multiple offers and bidding wars as well as bank-owned fixers and short-sales. As an accredited Earth Advantage agent I know the value of 'green' housing. I've sold in most of Seattle's popular neighborhoods and the 'up and coming' ones. Whether it's a single family home or a high rise condo I know my way around the issues. I also focus on the surrounding communities of Shoreline, Bellevue, Renton and more. And truth be told there's been some sales as far north as Whatcom County. My 15 years spent in Financial Services has proven invaluable for providing clients with sound advice. Using a consultative manner and educational approach I'll share what I know so you can make prudent decisions.

Living Large
These days my partner and I make our home just outside the Seattle city limits in a mid-century rambler where the cats are bigger than the dogs. A Boston native, I arrived here in 1996 just as Money Magazine named Seattle the best place to live. It still is. When I'm not staging homes or touring properties I work out, do some photography or experiment in the kitchen. I really enjoy my profession and take everyday as an opportunity to share a good laugh or learn something new. Meeting new people almost guarantees it.

When we bought our first house we felt that the agent who represented us only cared about completing the deal regardless of whether it was right for us. With Steve the experience was the exact opposite. Bought a home in 2014 in Greenwood, Seattle, WA 98117.

If patience is a virtue, Steve McDonald is the most virtuous of all real estate agents! Steve was amazingly patient and supportive with us during our search for a new home. He drove us to multiple neighborhoods, showed us countless listings, and walked us through each home with an eye for detail and vision for the possibilities that each house offered. We talked for hours about this house versus that one, this neighborhood versus another, and Steve patiently guided us through all of our options. Sold a Townhouse home in 2014 for approximately $500K in Madison Valley, Seattle, WA.

Steve McDonald was a huge asset in selling my townhouse, and I highly recommend him to anyone thinking of selling. Steve came through for me throughout the entire process.
