I cannot recommend Rebecca enough! As first time home buyers, my fiance and I definitely went in needing a little education on the housing market and Rebecca did just that. She was patient with us when we realized we needed to be a little bit more realistic with our pricing and she was SO incredibly flexible with her schedule. She was always available to answer whatever questions we had, whether it was at 7a in the morning or 10p at night. Once we did put our offer in, Rebecca did a fantastic job representing us. We told her what we were comfortable with paying and she represented our price to the buyer, even though they wanted us to come up. Needless to say, we got the condo and are extremely happy with our new home. Thank you Rebecca for being such a phenomenal partner to us in buying our first home!
Sold a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $950K in Mission, San Francisco, CA.
Rebecca recently helped us sell our home in the Mission and she was truly amazing. After a year of patiently waiting for us to get our act together, she got the green light and whipped us into shape. At first we were overwhelmed but realized that this is what we needed, an expert to come in and tell us what we needed to do and how to do it. She let contractors in and out, explained disclosures, encouraged us to modestly stage our home while still living there—with three boys and a dog—and didn't hesitate to wash a window or wipe up a smear as we ran out the door before the open houses.
Once the open houses were over and the offers came in she walked us through the packets of the thoughtful letters topped by mounds of paperwork, professionally guiding us through the decision process. And it didn't end there. Rebecca and the SFClimb team continued to lead us through the closing process. Overall top-notch experience.

Rebecca worked tirelessly to ensure that our difficult purchase process stayed on track, no matter the roadblocks our disorganized sellers placed in our way. Rebecca's willingness to take all of the time necessary (electronically and in-person) to explain and confirm every detail made her a pleasure to work with, and her hands-on approach with both us and the selling agent made an intimidating process much easier to handle. She came highly recommended, and I can't echo that sentiment enough!
“I started looking for an apartment in San Francisco in August. After a month an and half my first realtor wasn’t able to suggest me any place that matched my needs. I was about to give up when a very good friend of mine told me that he found a place thanks to the help of Rebecca. I immediately contacted her and I explained what were my needs. The first selection of places that Rebecca sent to me had already many interesting options. My first offer for an apartment wasn’t successful but, another unit was free in the same building and with the experience of Rebecca I was able to win the bid and get that one. In only 2 months from meeting Rebecca I was able to get my first apartment!
It was my first time buying an apartment and Rebecca was great! She was explaining me all I needed to know and she was always available for answering more questions in a very clear way.
I would definitely recommend Rebecca to my next friend that needs to buy a house and to anybody that need somebody professional, with great communications skills and professionalism!” - Gianpiero N., buyer
Rebecca was simply oustanding.
She helped me find the home that I wanted and I couldn't be happier. The communication between us was fantastic. You can tell she knew exactly what I was looking for and the strategy she advised was the right one. She was also super available and very professional in guiding me throughout the process. I have already recommended her to one of my best friends.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $650K in Portola, San Francisco, CA.
When my Partner and I started our search to purchase a new home we didn't really know what we were looking for other than we knew more space was a must. Our jr. one bedroom condo was great for a bachelor but not a couple with a growing collection of stuff.
When we started out we thought we had an idea of what we were looking for but in the end we purchased something that we didn't expect and are now very happy with our decision. Our initial thought was to buy a larger condo, we even considered purchasing again in our current building. Months went by, open house after open house, condos, lofts, town homes, we looked at everything.
The one constant through our 6 month home search was Rebecca. She proved herself to be an invaluable guide and source of information. Being relatively new to the home purchasing process, with all it's complexities, Rebecca didn't hesitate to take the time to explain how everything worked, down to the smallest details. We were so pleased with her efforts in helping us find our home that we decided to have her sell our jr one bedroom as well, which after an aggressive marketing campaign she sold in less than two weeks for over asking.
Rebecca is a relentless advocate for her clients, she listens to what you want and helps you find what you want when you don't know what that is. Earlier when I said my Partner and I were happy with our decision, it really was our decision. Not once did Rebecca pressure us into making an offer if she sensed the slightest hesitation. I have to say it again, Rebecca is a relentless advocate for her clients, and we're happy to have worked with her and look forward to chance to work with her again.

We couldn’t be more happy with Rebecca Brooks at SF Modern! First of all, we asked her to do nearly the impossible by selling our condo concurrent with purchasing our new home, but she made the sale happen in record time and got us a great price! She was there for us every step of the way, and there were some rough steps for sure, but regardless she always made us feel like everything was under control and things were going smoothly. Rebecca was also super clear with us when explaining things and answered any questions or concerns with grace and confidence at any time of the day. We would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone!
Sold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $700K in Lake, San Francisco, CA.
Rebecca sized the local market, we spoke about a fair price (which was the upper end of the range), and I also wanted a quick sale. After her marketing and 3 Open Houses in the first 10 days on the market, we got an offer at exactly what I wanted from a very qualified buyer. She continued to market and had one last open house, recieved a back-up offer "just in case" at a higher price point which gave me comfort. We recorded on escrow close as scheduled. End to End was 5 1/2 weeks. What else is there to say, would certainly recommend at 5 stars.

A very good friend referred me to Rebecca. And by refer, I mean he raved about his experience with Rebecca and how she went above and beyond for him. I found every word he said about her to be true.
Working with Rebecca was awesome! As a first time buyer I felt comfortable going through the entire complicated process with her help. From taking me to many different showings and researching comps on properties I was interested in, I felt very well informed at all times.
We were involved in a very competitive bidding process and we won! Rebecca kept in close contact with sellers and put me in a great position to make my offer as attractive as possible. The selling agent even noted Rebecca for her great communication and professionalism.
I was thrilled with my experience with Rebecca and like my friend who recommended her to me, I would happily refer Rebecca to anyone I know.
