Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $325K in Richmond, CA.
Rebecca Nemeth helped us buy our first home in the North and East neighborhood of Richmond. She is a rock star among real estate agents. Rebecca is the opposite of the stereotype of a shady real estate agent - she is highly ethical and takes an informed, data-driven approach to helping her clients buy and sell homes. She is a real estate nerd, loves a good spreadsheet and thrives at building a deep knowledge base in her profession. If you're a nerd like me then she's one of us. If you're not a nerd, she is the geeky expert you want in your corner. And on top of all this nerdly expertise this she's a friendly, charming, personable professional.
Rebecca stuck with me (and eventually my partner) during a long, arduous 4-year on and off house hunting process during the craziest part of the post-crash Bay Area real estate market. She put in a huge number of hours over those years and submitted offer after offer with the same determination and tenacity, even when our hopes were flagging after being outbid so many times.
I feel fortunate to have worked with her and Berkeley Hills and would certainly do so again.
Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $700K in Albany, CA.
Rebecca helped my husband and I purchase a lovely home in the currently crazy and overheated market of North Berkeley and Albany. I am in Illinois and my husband is in Japan, but Rebecca was able to take the time to work with us remotely so that we could realize our dream. She is super nice and knowledgeable about all kinds of things, like the local community, how to care for an older home, how to negotiate, and how to set realistic expectations. She really cared for us as clients and what could have been a very nervewracking experience was a very positive one, due to her unique skill sets. She is also extremely tech savvy and helped to keep us up-to-date with lots of nifty tools, like docu sign, specialized spreadsheets, etc. She also has a great network of contractors and agents that helped us get set up in our new home. We recommend her highly!
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $800K in Glenview, Oakland, CA.
Rebecca is great. She helped my ex-wife and I sell our house. Rebecca kept us both informed of the process and provided us with very good advice. Her tech savvy-ness saved us lots of time, giving us the ability to do things at home or at work that traditionally you'd have to be in an office to do. I felt confident that her knowledge of the neighborhood and market conditions were good and, ultimately, I was very happy with the end result. I would definitely recommend her to anyone buying or selling a house.
Rebecca has it all. I knew she was knowledgable before I worked with her, but I had no idea how knowledgable nor did I know about her talent. Her knowledge ranges from how to stage a house to how to repair a door handle, and from how to publish a house to how to sort through every minute detail of the many, many documents needed to sell a house.
Her talent is doing all of these things and explaining all the details big and small along the way. She does all this in a way that is easy to understand and feel comfortable with. I was often overwhelmed by the process of selling my house, but Rebecca reassured me that all would work out, and it did. She has amazing knowledge, skills and talent with houses, documents, and people. I think that is everything a buyer/seller needs in a realtor.
We just purchased our first home, and I couldn't be happier with the experience my husband and I have had with Rebecca Nemeth at Berkeley Hills Realty. From day one, Rebecca took the time to get to know us and to answer the MANY questions we had about the home buying process. She provided us with so much good, useful information. We learned so much from her.
Rebecca is the consummate professional and has a really good reputation. Every time I said "I'm working with Rebecca from Berkeley Hills Realty," people seemed to recognize her name immediately and had nothing but positive things to say about her. She's really friendly and easy talk to, which was really important for us. I remember having long conversations with her over bowls of popcorn in her office about everything from home improvement to 80's music :)
Rebecca was incredibly responsive and always made it a priority to keep us updated. She never made us feel pressured to make decisions and stuck with us every step of the way. It was long road, but we got there with her help!
For anyone looking for an excellent Realtor (especially new buyers), I highly recommend giving Rebecca a call. I'm so glad we did.
