This legal unit is not factored into the Zillow estimate of value... It is a 5 year old, Craftsman styled bungalow: 725 sq. ft. over a 725 sq.ft. , two car garage. It has its own back yard, and rents for $1900 a month. That adds a HUGE amount of value, which Zillow has not picked up.  Zillow shoud have a method for tabulating such omissions, by the owner.

I am just now seeing the exchange that quotes the "testy" realtor who saysthey don't show to unrepped prospects...That is bizarre...It is also probably against the state law of the state where this happened.It, also, obliquely alludes to "Dual Agency" and its ramifications... ... It implies, maybe??....that the listing agent was pitching to be also representing the prospective buyer. (in a stupid way.)... I am sure that the listing agent didnot have the right to tell the prospect  "Go hire an agent, first."jack barry in S.F.

Thanks for this...I was looking at it, and saw no Memorial plaque on the property, and figjured I had the wrong place...I guess the City of Cambridge doesn't rate her life as being as significant as the rest of the world does.jack barry

I am a broker..  My clients just closed on this beautiful house, in the special setting.While Zillow is useful, it is useless in identifying special value sites, such as this.All the lots on the west side of this block...are 30 feet wide, not the usual 25.The houses are all Craftsman style, with elaborate landscaping....Too bad there is noeasy metric for Zillow to incorporate here.j.barry realtors, 415 564 0225

What is the origin of the unfetching place name, "Neighborhood Nine".???
I lie to friends, out of embarassment, and say "It is to honor Ted Williams, who lived here.To name an area with a mere number, might be ok in Cleveland, or  New Mexico, but? in "History laden Cambrige"??  For Gross!!..  I suggest, instead: "Sherman-Garden" for the juncture of those two main arteries, and the gorgeous Fire House there.

For what it is worth: both structures are currently For Sale, on MLS, at 150K less than what Zillow estimates their value to be...

I was one of the buyers of #6 Sherman Streeet, # D..., on 6 20 07, for $458,000.Zillow recorded it, by mistake as "68 Sherman Street..." All should be aware of this.John E. Barry, 415 564 0225, in SF.
