Regina has helped us on the sale of my home as well as the purchase of my husband and I's first home together. Throughout the entire experience we felt that we were working with someone who took our interests seriously, and put our needs first. I have never felt more confident in the ability of a real-estate professional before. Regina clearly knows and understands what it takes to lead to a successful negotiation and transaction! We highly recommend her services!
Response from Regina
My wife and I recently worked with Regina and purchased our first property, a duplex in the Worthington area. We looked at a high volume of properties in just about every area of Columbus and settled on a great home in a great area. Regina was very helpful, flexible and patient in the process and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Her knowledge of the Downtown, German Village and Bexley areas are unmatched and as first time home buyers, she was great in helping walk us through the "In Contract" process all the way through our closing date.
I would definitely recommend Regina, especially to first time home buyers, b/c of her experience, patience and knowledge of the City.

Regina was an invaluable asset in selling our home. Regina provided thoughtful ideas and techniques to sell our house incredibly efficiently from the time we went on the market through closing. We cannot thank her enough and highly recommend her to anyone interested in buying or selling a home in the Columbus area!

A strong work ethic, great knowledge of the Central Ohio realty landscape, respect of our time, a well grounded business ethic...and a non-pushy, easy-to-get-along-with personality are the best descriptors that come to mind when thinking of Regina Acosta Tobin. We wanted to downsize, yet had firm parameters in what we required in our future 'retirement' home. Regina met with us; listened and absorbed (really!). She arranged a few different 2-3 hour 'excursions' to get us started, then worked with us to narrow our search based on feedback. We probably looked at more properties than were necessary due to the fact that I wanted a smaller, quaint house and my wife wanted a maintenance free condo. Regina helped us work through this situation tactfully. We made an aggressive offer on a vacant condo which was not accepted; then we made an aggressive offer on an alternative condo that was accepted - 8 years new and 30% under the new build price! From the time we first met Regina to the time we took possession of our new condo was 3-weeks and 3-hours. Amazing. Great work, Regina.

Regina was the listing agent with the house we bought. I had a very rough time with my personal realtor and Regina was very quick to answer all of the questions that weren't getting answered from my own realtor and to help me get the reassurance I need that the purchase of the house was going to be a smooth transaction. Even though I was not her client, never once did she let that mean anything. She offered her assistance and answered all of my questions promptly and professionally. She is the reason I was able to get my dream home! Without her, I don't know if this would have been possible. As this was my first home buying experience, she gave me the confidence I needed to get through this with my head on straight. She will definitely be our first recommendation to anyone in need of a realtor!

We recently sold a duplex that we had owned for the last ten years. Both because of the market and it's attendant financing requirements, it wasn't easy. Regina handled it all in stride ( better than me ) and in spite of it all, got it done. If you don't really want to sell your property, don't list with Regina. She WILL sell it. She was an absolute bulldog on our property and we are grateful. Another thing that doesn't often happen; after the closing and the commission earned, she contacted me to see if there was any other way to help or service she could perform. Service provided with such sincerity is a rare attribute and I commend and recommend her.

After deciding to sell my home in German Village this summer, I called Regina to discuss my options. I knew that my home would be desirable to a limited market due to the small size and I needed a neighborhood specialist to market it. Regina was the perfect choice! I followed her advice and pre-marketing suggestions and the home sold quickly, within days not months! The negotiations were painless and the closing went smoothly and problem free. I would and do advise any one looking for a home to buy or sell in the German Village area to consider Regina as their choice in realtors.

Last year I was suddenly relocated to New Orleans from Columbus. I had purchased a condo just a few months before and had rented it to a gentleman. After realizing that I would be permanently in New Orleans, I decided to sell the condo during a very tough Real Estate period in early 2009. Having previously worked with Regina, I knew if anyone sould sell this property under the unusual conditions that I requested attached to the deal, she could! I wanted to sell quickly. I wanted a fair market value. I wanted my tenant to be able to fulfill his lease. I wanted not to travel back to Columbus but wanted all paperwork to be signed through the U.S. Mail, e-mails and faxes. Most importantly, I wanted an issue-free sell and closing. I entrusted Regina with everything. She handled everything with grace and precision and delivered beyond my expectations just as she had a year or so before when selling my house. I have referred Regina to many friends and each of them have personally thanked me for recommending her. Regina is a remarkable realtor! I wish she was in New Orleans!!!

We knew Regina as both our neighbor and friend before she even became a Realtor, so naturally she was our first pick to have represent us. We couldn't have made a better decision.
She began helping us before we even signed on. We had been living in our home for the last 25 years before deciding to build a new one. Many years of accumulated stuff!! Regina came right in and gave expert advise on what to repaint, clean out, what furniture to move or remove, and what to put where for ideal staging - even right down to the knick knacks. Consequently, the house showed very well and we received a lot of compliments from prospective buyers and other realtors on how nice, clean and tidy it looked.
She had the best pictures taken and posted on the web and made thousands of flyers and other pamphlets to help sell our home.
The market we had to deal with was certainly one of great difficulty, but Regina didn't miss a beat. She started day one and never wavered in her dedication, creative ideas, open houses, and tireless effort to find the right buyer for our home. And, so she did. Her attitude was always positive and we always felt she had time for us - almost like we were her only client. Of course we knew that we were not - especially when, to our surprise, the buyers came in and they were Regina's clients too.
Regina was the perfect mediator during the offer and negotiating piece. She had sensitivity to both of our needs in order to work the best deal that would benefit us all. She was compassionate, fair, and created a friendly atmosphere between all of us. We still keep in touch with the new buyers to this day.
I would recommend Regina to anyone whether selling or buying. She is honest, hardworking, realistic, professional, and will communicate to you straight up with what needs to be done in order to buy or purchase. Our many thanks to Regina.
