Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $75K in Governours Square, Columbus, OH.

Regina listend to what I wanted and only showed me properties that fit my criteria. She steered me through the process of securing a loan, even though my price point and other criteria made that a challenge. She skillfully negotiated with the seller's agent so that I got what I wanted without alienating anyone!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in Eastmoor, Bexley, OH.

My husband and I were looking for our first home and Regina came highly recommended by friends. Having little knowledge about buying a house, Regina set aside time to sit down with us and walk us through the process in detail so we would know what to expect. This was immensely helpful and appreciated for first time home buyers. Throughout the process she was patient, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and always kept our best interest as buyers in mind. She was easy to get in touch with and follow-up with us regularly throughout the process. She was able to give us perspective as a professional that assisted in us making this important decision. She really made what could have been a stressful experience a truly enjoyable and positive one!

Lucky for us, the process was extremely smooth, largely due to Regina's skill and experience. We had an issue with the home a day after closing and Regina remained committed to us to ensure that the problem was resolved. She even postposed dinner plans to come over and make sure everything was taken care of! We couldn't have asked for a better experience or agent to guide us in this important life decision. We felt extremely supported by her throughout the process. We would both highly recommend her!

Sold a home in 2014 in Near Southside, Columbus, OH 43206.

My wife and I hired Regina Acosta Tobin to sell our home on the South Side of Columbus. It was a unique property, both in terms of its quality and its location, and selling it according to our fiscal parameters posed a difficult challenge. Regina met that challenge with sales strategy and techniques that proved to be completely successful.

I have not encountered a realtor who understands the necessity of effective digital marketing better than Regina does. She created a precisely crafted listing that immediately appeared in *every* major online real estate search engine. This listing included incredible pictures of our house shot by her staff photographer: a portfolio of twenty-two high-resolution images displayed our house's spaces with depth and detail, highlighting its strengths. As a result, agents from all over the region showed our house, attracted by the quality of Regina's listing.

Regina's command of digital media extended to her extremely effective communication skills. If I sent Regina an email or text, she always replied in less than a half hour. If a form needed my approval, she arranged digital signature service so that I could deliver my signature within minutes without leaving my living room. Other realtors' web sites are frequently cookie-cutter affairs, but hers is custom built to deliver quality listing information to prospective buyers. She understands how an effective digital presence brings buyers to listings, and works hard to maintain that presence.

Most importantly, Regina's attitude was always both positive and pragmatic. She never sugar-coated the difficulties we faced as we worked to sell our house, but she met those hurdles with a positive attitude, always striving to find effective solutions. When the problems that inevitably crop up during the sale of any house arose, she maintained an even keel and worked methodically to solve those problems.

Our real estate experience with Regina Acosta Tobin acting on our behalf as our seller's agent was an absolutely positive one. Her hard work helped my wife and I navigate a difficult selling situation, and emerge with a successful sale. I recommend her services unreservedly.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $475K in German Village Commission, Columbus, OH.

Whether buying or selling a home, one always hopes for a storybook ending. As well, one hopes to effectively manage stress during the process. Regina Acosta Tobin brought not only the storybook ending to the sale of my home, but also skillful guidance in helping me navigate through the stress of selling a home. How did Regina do this? From the day I contacted Regina to put my house on the market through closing day, Regina was ultra-responsive—she often responded to emails and text messages before I scrolled to the next message in cue. Regina answered phone calls nearly every time I called—which is astounding, given the sheer volume of clients and homes Regina handles in German Village, Italian Village, and the surrounding areas. If Regina missed a call, she returned it typically within the half hour—again, an astounding feat given the sheer volume of clients with whom she’s working. Not only was Regina responsive to me, she was responsive to other agents and buyers, including going out of her way to make sure the house could be shown at unusual hours, etc. In addition to Regina’s responsiveness, she was proactive in using a range of strategies to ensure the effective sale of my home—including meeting with me at my home before it went on the market to provide suggestions on things to consider updating; performing a comprehensive analysis of all comparable homes for sale in the area so that we could gauge the right asking price; connecting me with a skilled, dependable and reasonably priced contractor who performed updates to the house to get it “market ready;” hosting multiple open houses; ensuring timely automated appointment scheduling and feedback to and from buyers; placing repeated advertisements for my home in the German Village Gazette; securing a spot for my home on the local realtor/agent tour; making helpful suggestions to add “props” to help stage the house (e.g., adding a plant here or there, including bringing her own lamp and poinsettia as we neared the holidays); letting me know when things needed to be done to the house once I moved out of state, such as yard maintenance or replacing light bulbs; and providing sound advice and strategies during the negotiation process with the buyer. Even beyond her responsiveness and proactive strategies for selling my home, on an interpersonal level, Regina was ultra-reassuring. I was under high stress during a career transition and moving out of state, including needing to sell my home quickly. While realtors are not professionally trained to manage the stress of their buyers and sellers, Regina ranks at the top of my list of realtors who provide effective reassurance in times of great stress; she has remarkable interpersonal skills and always put a positive, encouraging spin throughout the entire time we worked together. Hands down, I would hire Regina again to sell another home. And, if I could hire Regina to help me buy a house in the state where I’m living now, I would do so in a heartbeat! She’s terrific.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $550K in German Village Commission, Columbus, OH.

We selected Regina for her extensive knowledge of the Columbus marketplace, and we were very impressed. We were from out of town and had little knowledge of Columbus's many neighborhoods and inner suburbs. She helped us find the perfect place in German Village. We were very confident in our purchase, because we had explored so much of Columbus and knew the pros and cons of each area.

She has also been great after the sale, helping us find handymen and telling us about what is going on in German Village. I high recommend!

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $300K in German Village Commission, Columbus, OH.

Regina went above and beyond to help us find and buy a home we would not get to see till closing day in a city we had never visited! She helped ease the challenging process of moving 1,300 miles with a young family. Once we arrived she welcomed us and immediately put us in touch with groups with similar interests. She put so much energy into helping us make our new house and city become our home!

Regina has been a pleasure to work with. My husband and I had been trying to find a home in a competitive market. It took us months, but we finally found the home that was right for us. Regina was a great counselor throughout the process and we never felt pressured from her to make a decision that wasn't right for us. She was always available for anything we needed from her. Her expertise with the entire procedure of buying a home made us feel very secure and confident that we were following the right course. Regina is trustworthy and exhibits nothing but professionalism. I definitely recommend her for anyone looking to buy/sell a home.
