Sold a Condo home in 2012 in Southport, NC.
Over the past 10 years, my husband and I have done over 30 real estate deals from Medford, NJ to Cape May, NJ to Wake Forest, NC and to Southport/Oak Island, NC. We feel having the best of the best in realtors is critical to the success of buying or selling a home or investment property.

Renee is the best of the best in the Southport, Oak Island, St. James, Ocean Isle and entire Brunswick County markets. She has the "pulse" of what is happening in the community and extensive local knowledge. She is a true professional who believes in going the extra mile and making sure her clients' buying or selling power is maximized.

I would highly recommend her for any type of real estate transaction. Whether someone is a buying a primary home, second/vacation home, investment property or commercial property, she has the knowledge, experience and expertise to exceed your expectations. If selling a home, she is well versed in all aspects whether a traditional sale, short sale or looming foreclosure.

At the end of the day, I have always felt extra comfortable with Renee as I always knew she had our best interests at heart. She was honest, detailed and always followed up with us. Even after the deals were done, she continued to be there for us. I feel honored and proud to call her my real estate agent as well as my friend.

Bought a Single Family home in 2006 in Southport, NC.
The most professional agent that we have ever worked with. Renee offers something all others lack, genuine kindness and consideration for your needs. Thanks to Renee, we not only gained a beautiful new home but a wonderful new friend as well! Thanks Renee!

Bought a home in 2012.
Rene was referred to me by a friend. We were looking for a home with great water views that would work for us as a permanent home once we retire. A home we could enjoy with our family. We found that Rene knows the area and market very well. She listened to what we were wanting, and assisted us to find the perfect house. We did this long distance and she was able to send us listings through her client portal which was most helpful. When we came up to the area, she gave us her undivided attention. I really appreciated that. As we selected our home and worked through the buying process from offer, to inspection, and closing, Rene was excellent. She was on top of everything and all went well. I have since recommended Rene to my friends and family. She has a very easy friendly personality, is a true professional, and I would work with her again!

Bought a home in 2011.
We were very pleased with the service Renee gave us during the purchase of our vacation home. She was prompt in returning our calls and very accommodating in our home searching process. She was professional, hard working and an excellant negotiator. She was friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful to us even after the sale was completed (for which we will be forever grateful). She has a passion for real estate and helping others and it shows.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $250K in Oak Island, NC.
Renee, was patient and easy to work with. We looked at a lot of houses, I mean a lot of houses and she was always up beat and patient with us especially through all of the offer processes. I think she knew better than we did, what home we wanted and yes, that's the one we ended up with and have been very happy since.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Oak Island, NC.
Renee Yost is a wonderful, knowledgeable realtor. Our entire selling transacation was without a hitch because of Renee's close contact with us during the sell of our home. We originally bought this house from Renee and that also went so smoothly. I would highly recommend her to any buyer or seller. She also became a good friend and plan to have continued contact on a friend's basis. Renee is a super hard worker with successful results.

Sold a Single Family home in 2008 in Southport, NC.
When we sold our home in OKI and purchased our new home in Southport in 2008 we contacted Renee to handle our Real Estate venture. We found Renee to be very knowledgable about the area and the Real Estate business. She walked us through the process and worked with us to find our perfect home. She really listened to what we wanted, then went and scouted out everything that was available and narrowed the list down to what met our criteria. We found our perfect home in Southport and absolutely love it. Renee was a great agent/broker and has become a great friend!!! We love her!!!

Bought a Townhouse home in 2010 for approximately $450K in Manor Park, Washington, DC.
Buying a home is no simple process. It’s more than a financial investment; it’s one of time and emotion. Buying your first home is even more taxing. If there are 7 stages of grief there must be 15 stages of first-time property ownership: from the competitive spirit of putting in your first offer (Must. Beat. All. OFFERS!) to buyer’s remorse when its accepted (Did we move too fast? Offer too much?) to the conflicting emotions of your final walk-through (This is really ours! But, was this room ALWAYS this small?). But somehow we get through it, and it’s in no small part due to the direction from our Realtors who not only understand the process inside and out, but also know how tough it is on first-time buyers. Full disclosure, Renee is my mother. And as with all things in life, she was more than willing to give me real estate advice. In 2010 she helped my husband and I embark on the home-buying process in Washington, DC. Renee helped us to narrow down our wants and needs, research neighborhoods that were up-and-coming, but safe, and she referred us to our agent who was young, experienced with first-time buyers, and really in-tune with the DC-scene. It was a great match. The reason I write this review is because while it takes a lot to be a good Realtor - to know your region, to understand what clients are looking for - it takes even more to be a great Realtor. The North Carolina coast and the Washington, DC real estate markets are wildly different. Renee was able to apply her expertise and give us the guidance, tools and connections to navigate the DC market and purchase our first home. Renee is, quite simply, one of those greats.
