Buying or selling home is an important event and choosing the right agent is key to success, making sure you have the best representation. Richard Ruch has the experience and personal qualities that make him a great advocate for your needs. A Bay Area resident for over twenty years, he is an active agent in the San Francisco Peninsula with Alain Pinel Realtors, the largest independent real estate company in California.
Richard abides by a high standard of integrity and professionalism while providing clients exceptional service. He focuses on clients' long-term benefit and satisfaction, not short-term sales goals. He always conducts detailed research and analysis for clients--whether you are selling or buying a home, or dealing with investment property--and brings market insights to help make decisions. Furthermore, he brings decades of hands-on negotiation experience to get the best deal for his clients. He has closed more than $400 million in real estate sales during his career. Once a deal has been agreed to, Richard is extremely thorough in getting the transactions closed. His own experience of moving from London to New York, then to the Bay Area makes him very effective in helping clients relocating to and from this area.
This is how Richard sums up his approach: "I start with a keen understanding of my client's needs. Then I combine my knowledge of the local real estate market with strong analytical and negotiation skills to complete a successful transaction for my client." Richard values and respects his clients, resulting in long-lasting relationships which encompass multiple properties and referrals over time.
Originally from England, Richard graduated from Cambridge University with a B.A. and M.A. in Engineering and Economics. Prior to embarking on his career in real estate, he managed relationships with large corporate clients for Chase and ran a financial consulting business advising international banks on their corporate loans. Prior to that, he was a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in London. He lives in Hillsborough with his family and enjoys tennis, squash, skiing and hiking.
