We worked with Rick buying our first house and we can’t recommend him enough!! If you are looking to buy in Marin or Sonoma County, Rick is your man! We met several realtors when we started going to open houses and were dreading getting serious about the process because we didn’t click with anyone. Everyone we met was a stereotypical pushy agent, but not Rick. He was a perfect fit for us. He knew when to be easy-going and let us do our thing or when we needed a push to say what we were really thinking or make a tough decision. His advice was invaluable in regards to weighing pros and cons and helping us understand whether issues with a house were more serious than we might be willing or able to deal with in a first home. He helped us navigate neighborhoods we were not entirely familiar with…or not familiar with at all. Most importantly, he was patient with us, laughed with us, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We really felt like we were working with someone who wanted us to be happy and was 100% on our side, not just concerned about making a sale. In the end we came out of our first home buying experience with a wonderful little first home and a realtor we really trust. As long as we are living in the North Bay we will work with Rick for all our home buying/selling and recommend him to anyone who will listen to us blabber on about how awesome he is!
Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $325K in Petaluma, CA.
We first met Rick at one of his open houses in 2007. It's a house he already sold but he still showed up as advertised. He was friendly and knowledgeable, so we took his card. We interviewed 4 brokers in person before we selected Rick - and it's a decision we are really glad with ever since. Over the last 5 years, Rick has bought and sold 8 houses for ourselves and our friends. Everyone likes his services.
Rick never "pushed" a house to us, and he always put our need first and warned us about problems with houses we liked. With Rick, I can trust his judgment and believe what he had to say. I would recommend him to anyone.
Rick helped me buy my house in 2009. He was patient, helpful, and really listened to my requirements. He didn't waste my time with houses that were not right, but made some useful suggestions about possible alternatives. In negotiations, he provided level-headed advice and handled all the pesky details. Highly recommended!

It’s hard to imagine a more able and amiable guide than Rick Warner. Working with him was an absolute joy. From our first conversation he made it clear that finding our dream house was his ultimate goal, and he never wavered from that.
We’re first-time homebuyers, so we needed a lot of hand holding and, even though Rick is a top producer with a lot of clients, he was always there for us for whatever we needed. He STILL is there for us, months later, and I have no doubt that in a year, if I needed his advice, he’d be there as well.
His network of contacts and service professionals were top-notch as well. Every time we used a referral of his, the process was smooth as silk; on the rare occasion when we didn’t, we were sorry. In fact, were it not for my occasional freak-outs as a first-time buyer, the whole process would have been seamless.
Finally, and most importantly, we literally would not have gotten our house were it not for him. His accurate “knowing” of what our final offer should be, his ability to leverage his relationships to get what we needed from the lender, and his skill in negotiation got us this sweet place.
His commission doesn’t come close to paying him what his work was worth for us. He truly was a gift.

My wife and I started working with Rick Warner when we decided to buy a home after moving to California. Rick was the best part of the process. He listened to what our requirements were, kept our budget in mind, and only showed us things that he thought would be a good fit. He also picked up on our reaction to one house that we were trying to convince ourselves would work. "You're not thrilled with it, let's keep looking."
Rick was always available, promptly answered calls and emails even "after hours", and did a fantastic job reassuring and supporting us as we went through escrow to closing on the house that was exactly what we were looking for.
The house needed some updating and Rick recommended people to help with that process and even followed up during the project to make sure everything was going smoothly.
We don't plan on moving again but if we do, we will definitely work with Rick!”

I began my search for a home in Sonoma County by perusing Craigslist and doing Google searches for a realtor. Rick’s name popped up again and again, which led me to suspect that he was an ambitious and hard-working professional. I wasn’t disappointed. Throughout the months of looking at houses, trying to nail down what I wanted from many options, and negotiating every aspect of the transition to new homeowner, Rick proved to be a pro-active, intelligent mentor. He helped me focus my priorities and define what type of home I was looking for. I especially appreciated his wit and intelligence, which eased the bureaucratic part of the process. Rick’s excellent memory and attention to detail helped me feel supported and eased my occasional worries about moving to a new county. His exhaustive appreciation for the area and his iPhone full of contacts for contractors of every stripe made it easy to take care of inspections and to get set up with utilities, banking, etc. Rick’s personal service, combined with his professional acumen, were a lifesaver in what can be a daunting process. I highly recommend Rick to anyone looking for a home or land in Sonoma or Marin county.

We have worked with Rick on multiple projects. Rick is very professional and makes sure all details are taken care of. We relied on his advice numerous times and were never disappointed. He has a comprehensive knowledge of related law and procedure which ensured that the property closes on time.

Rick Warner is top-notch: he is smart, professional, experienced, market savvy, and very skilled at negotiating deals. In addition, Rick is fun! However, perhaps his best quality is that Rick truly cares about his clients and their satisfaction and happiness. Even if it takes a year to find the right home at the right price, Rick doesn't fret or get impatient. He understands the importance of the decision and will help you 100% from start to finish. Rick helped us buy a foreclosure in a tricky market back in 2010. Good properties were few and far between at the time, so when a decent listing popped up, we had to hurry to see it. Rick was always ready to show any property we wanted to see asap and always gave us sensible feedback on each property we viewed. We are very pleased with our purchase and we highly recommend Rick for buying and selling.
Rick was of enormous value both during our year-long search for the perfect property, and our difficult short-sale of our existing home. He was thorough, knowledgable, professional, and perhaps most importantly, thoughtful and caring. He took the time to really understand our interests and concerns, and was always avaialble to talk through an often complex and emotional process.
Rick's support enabled us to be patient until we found our dream home. He also navigated a complex sale with an outstanding result.
And throughout the process he was forthright, and fun!
We will recommend Rick Warner to anyone needing an agent.

As many of you know, the real estate market is such that you might end up working with your agent for a very long time! So choose wisely! For those of you in the Petaluma area, I can heartily recommend Rick Warner.
It took me almost a year of extensive searching to find just the right investment property, and Rick was there for me the whole time. He patiently educated me on the ins and outs of short sales, foreclosures, etc., and was always cheerful and focused. He was good with sellers, tenants and other agents as well. He helped me maintain the optimism needed to make a successful and satisfying purchase. Rick is a real professional. Did I mention his great sense of humor? You need to be able to laugh with someone when things get a little crazy.
