A rent-to-own is, in essence, still a purchase - with an extended Settlement Date where a percentage of the rent is placed in an escrow account in order to accrue enough for a down payment and closing costs. You would still need to go thru the mortgage pre-approval process, just as if you were buying with a traditional 30-60 day Settlement. Does this scenario sound like your situation? Do you need time to save up for the down payment and closing costs? It may be worth your while to speak to a Lender who can adequately assess your financial situation. There may be grant money available to you from the State. Let me know if you would like any additional information or would like to speak to Lender. Thank you!
I would be happy to send you the appropriate listings that fit your criteria. Please email me your price range, and the zip code and/ or neighborhoods you are interested in. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
Hi....I work with many Docs, Residents and Fellows that use the Dr Loan in Baltimore. I have an incredible lender who specializes in that specific program who would be happy to speak to you. I had a client just this month who had the same question. Would you like to get in touch with me directly to discuss and get my lenders info? I live in Baltimore and work mainly in Baltimore City and the perimeter neighborhoods and surrounding counties, so I know the area very well. Many Thanks!
Hello....I work many Residents, Fellows and Doctors from UMMD - I am working with two presently, one of which just purchased a condo this past weekend. I am also a Baltimore native and City resident for over 20 yrs so I am very familiar with the areas that would be suitable for your daughter. I have Lender who specifically specializes in Doctor loans as well, should you decide to explore buying versus renting. I welcome your inquiry if you would like to chat further. Many Thanks! Ricki
I would give Alan a call to get his input and/or get a quote from him. He does beautiful quality work and you will learn a lot from him. I told him you might be calling. He could probably give you a 'guestimate' over the phone.Good luck!
