My Citimortgage qualifies for the New Fannie Mae Refi Program. Must I go through Citimortgage?

drvic,If your loan is owned by Fannie Mae, starting in April you will be able to use any lender or broker of your choice. You do not need to go back to Citimortgage.

I have no idea what the definition of "imminent" is at this point. But it sounds like worst case you qualify for the refinance.

oswego,With Freddie Mac you must contact your loan servicer. FYI you will not be allowed to consolidate the 2nd. You will only be allowed to refinance the 1st.

Freddie Mac is a tad different then Fannie Mae. At this point in time you can only contact your servicer.Here are the guidelines
