A person on the Zillow support team had recommended Rob after helping me with my account, so I contacted Rob in 2012 or 2013 when we were considering selling the home. We had purchased it in 2005, so we were going to be taking a significant loss, and I met with Rob to get some idea on the market at that time. We decided not to sell that year, but Rob kept in touch with us and provided several updates on the market as time went on. When we did decide to put the home up for sale in 2015, we asked Rob to be the listing agent. Our residence is in the state of Washington, and the home was a rental, with a renter residing there, so Rob had some additional steps to take so that we did not have to make a trip back to Arizona for the sale. Everything was done through email and phone until the final signatures, which required originals, so it was all very convenient. Rob worked with our renter and made some excellent suggestions for dealing with her, leading to some very good cooperation with the home being staged very nicely. We had a few issues with the buyers, and they had a few issues with us, but the deal stayed on track and the closing went well. There was a misunderstanding by the title/mortgage company that involved a few hundred dollars in fees, and Rob worked with them to reach a satisfactory outcome. That step was above and beyond expectations. Overall, we were perfectly satisfied with Rob's help in the process.

I got to be honest The thought of buying a new home was of course exciting but kind of scary to. With so many unknowns and so many variables we approached it with kid gloves. We sat down with Rob Hale for the very first time and honestly within just a few minutes many of our worries we're totally and completely gone as he had the skill set along with all the resources to show us with great transparency all the particular possibilities in the marketplace. In very short order we honed in on a home that we really liked, and Rob did a fantastic job negotiating with the sellers based off our desired monthly payment as well as working with the amount that we had saved to put down. I first tried to do 'for sale by owner.' When I realized how many 'fine print' questions I had in the real estate process, I decided to seek advisement from a realtor. I had three realtors giving me advice. I chose Rob Hale for one reason: His many words and actions with me added up to 'trust,' while others were full of empty promises and were inconsistent. With Rob, we sold my house in a week and above asking price. We were very happy with our profit.

As far as the primary goal is concerned, Mr Hale did get our house sold quickly, and I assume that means he did not overprice it. The negotiation went smoothly and quickly, and we were satisfied with that.
We were inexperienced sellers, and would have appreciated a written list of steps that would occur throughout the sales process, especially as we had already moved several states away. Instead we kept receiving unexpected documents at random intervals which appeared to have been items the agency should have sent earlier, but had overlooked. The documents arrived without prior warning or explanation.
The agency hired their own handyman to fix items that the buyers' inspection found problematic, and then waited till almost the day of closing to have the work done. Their handyman insisted on being prepaid before performing the work, and rather than fronting that money to their own handyman, the realty agency insisted on us overnighting our personal checks from our out of state homes to their office so they could pay their handyman.
We left the work in 048 Realty's hands because 1) we were inexperienced, and 2) we were moving out of state in early January. We expected that anything that needed to be done in Arizona, 048 Realty would do for us. Instead, they shifted the work back onto us -- everything from asking what the Maricopa County laws were for 55+ housing communities, when their own office is in Maricopa County, to misinforming the title company about the ownership of the house being a Trust, and the proper forwarding address to send the paperwork to, which resulted in a last-minute hellish day of waiting for a notary to make a housecall and then making several trips to an overnighting company office to print, fax, and overnight various newly-generated documents. (Expenses which, by the way, were not offered to be recompensed.)
Keys and garage door openers which we directed the realtor to in early January apparently went missing after our departure from Arizona, and rather than driving ten minutes to the house to look for them, 048 Realty chose to contact us, in California and Washington respectively, to somehow find them again for them in March. Having a local realty was supposed to lift this sort of burden from us, since we were now hundreds of miles away.
Even the reason why it was all so very last minute was never explained. We heard the buyers wanted to close 3 days earlier than we had originally been told, but we were not told why this became our emergency to deal with. We, after all, didn't care about getting the closing done 3 days early.
In conclusion, if you are experienced home sellers and intend on staying in the Mesa area to deal with the sudden issues that seem to arise with 048 Realty, go for it. Otherwise, we would not recommend them.

I was unaware that you had to pay the overnight fees to the title company, but we will gladly reimburse that cost for you. The auction company apparently removed the keys and garage openers after the sale of the items. The call I made to you was to see if they had been placed elsewhere, because we could not find them in the kitchen.
Based on your feedback, we will update our systems to address the concerns that you have helped to bring to light from your invaluable perspective as an out of state seller.
We have corrected our systems or will be correcting very soon the issues you addressed
