Incorrect List Price

Reply
A real estate agent (who is incidentally not the listing agent) listed the condo's price at 72 Vassar Aisle, Irvine, CA 92612, in the University Town Center's Oxford Court as $529,000.The listed price on this property is $629,000--a $100,000 mistake. I am not the owner, noram I the listing agent, so there is nowhere in this listing where I can correct the information that was inaccurately inputed.  I am a real estate agent/broker who is active in this area, and I received an e-mail from one of my clients wanting to know about this listing. We lose credibility as agents in the eyesof buyers if these kinds of mistakes and inaccurate information get distributed. It also affectsthe zestimates that buyers take into account. I am sure that the owner of this property, as well as the listing agent, would not want this inaccurate data published in a public forum. I am sure that Zillow would not want to disseminate such grossly inaccurate pricings on the listings in their database. Thank you for your prompt attention and correction of this listing at 72 Vassar Aisle, Irvine, CA 92612Robin Fenchelhttp://www.Robin4Homes.com949.854.0217

Updating Listing and Sales Information
As a real estate broker/agent who tries to monitor my listings and listings in my sphere to ensure that the consumer/buyer/seller is viewing current, accurate information on Zillow, I have found it frustrating to see many out-of-date (pending, sold, duplicate properties) listings onZillow's website.  I sometimes am surprised to find that my own listings, which I try to monitor frequently,  have been posted on Zillow by some other web site which reflects older, inaccurate information that conflicts with my own, more current information.  Let's try to be better stewards of our own listings/information, so that the public does not become disillusioned with the lack of current, updated, reliable active/pending/sold information.Regards,Robin FenchelCentury 21 Professionalshttp://www.Robin4Homes.com

I believe that both fields are ones that consumers have come to rely upon, and demand the most current data. I would definitely keep them in place.Robin FenchelCentury 21 ProfessionalsRobin4Homes.com
