Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Thiells, NY.Summary:
My wife and I began working with Marilyn long before our house was ready to be listed. She gave us excellent advice and guidance in terms of how to prepare our home for a quick sale at an appropriate price for the market. Marilyn answered every question we had (and we had lots of them), provided every piece of data we asked for relating to the homes listed in our area, and the names and numbers of good quality, dependable contractors to take care of some things we wanted done, such as removing paneling, finishing hardwood floors, etc. She had us perfectly prepared and perfectly positioned so that on Day One of our listing, we had two offers! On that first three day weekend, fourteen people saw the house. We never even needed a public open house. The different between the winning offer and our original asking price was a mere $5,000. In this market, what Marilyn helped us do was amazing! If you are serious about wanting to sell a home in Rockland County, New York, you want Marilyn Malave as your listing agent!…More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $425K in Monroe, NY.Summary:
Being first time buyers there was a lot that we didn't know about buying a house. We really needed someone, let alone the process to be easy as possible and as little time consuming as possible. Everything was a blur and then we were homeowners! But Marilyn made sure we knew exactly what was going on.
