Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $300K in Pocket, Sacramento, CA.

My husband and I worked with Ron to purchase our first home in 2012 in the Pocket area. We had worked together for almost a year to find the right place, and Ron was patient and thorough throughout. Ron's expertise and attention to detail at every step of the process, from examining the nooks and crannies of each home we viewed to the drafting of offer letters and contracts, was incredibly valuable. Not only does he have the highest integrity, he is knowledgable about all aspects that are considerations when purchasing a home (construction materials, legal requirements, history of neighborhoods/school districts, etc.). It is really hard to find professionals who operate to such high standards. Ron is a high caliber individual and you will not regret working with him. We were referred to him by another satisfied couple, and have since referred him to friends who have gone on to use his services.  More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $375K in Greenhaven, Sacramento, CA.

Ron Roberts was the agent for the seller when we bought our home in 1997. We said if we ever sold it, he would be the agent we would contact. 15 years later, we contacted him, and luckily for us, he is still in the business. Our home sold in 2 weeks from the listing date for full price. Ron is extremely knowledgeable, very well organized, knows the process inside out, and doesn't miss a thing when going through a home either for the buyer or the seller. He notices things that may seem insignificant that would affect the sale or purchase, and he definitely gives his clients 110% attention. His attention to detail is amazing, and he will always go the extra mile. If Ron was licensed in the state I am relocating to, I would use him again. He is a rare find, and we highly recommend him.  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $400K in Pocket, Sacramento, CA.

Ron helped us purchase our first home in the Pocket area in 2010. We were a young couple with a toddler and a TON of questions-- Ron was always patient and explained everything in great detail. We would go house hunting together with a list composed of homes he thought fit our tastes, as well as taking us to the homes we found on our own. I think his greatest strength is his extensive and detailed knowledge about the Pocket area. When we made offers, he helped us with strategy and always respected our input. It never seemed like business. As stressful as buying a house can be, we always looked forward to meeting him, and if something fell through, we were confident he would find us something better (and he did!). There are a few things I remember specifically that make Ron stand out:

- I wasn't there but when my wife first "interviewed" him to be our agent, she told me how he answered her entire list of questions patiently and in detail, and then even invited more questions.

- Ron gave the perfect balance of input when we made our very first offer on the first home we were interested in (which we did NOT get, and in hindsight, thank God for that!). What I mean is he gave us his opinion on an appropriate offer, and when I wanted to go much lower (thinking I was oh so smart), he didn't really dispute it. The sellers turned it down, with some indication they were annoyed at us, but I had learned a good lesson. In hindsight, the home was not that great to begin with, and I think we were just settling on something since we were beginning to get buyer's fatigue. Ron had the insight to know this-- even when the seller turned down my low offer, he didn't urge us to continue back and forth with the seller, in fact he suggested we move on. And we did and eventually found our perfect home. It really speaks to Ron putting our interests first, and the sale of a home second.

- The "professional home inspection company" did a walk-through summary of our in-escrow-house and presented their report, all of which took about 15 minutes. Afterward, Ron said their summary was a bit lacking, and walked us through the house again using their report as a guide but explaining with detail and suggestions of what certain problems may be more serious/problematic than others. He did this over 2 hours! I remember because I had to be somewhere (haha!), but it was so much appreciated.

- During closing of escrow, he was there at the table every step of the way, making sure we understood what we were signing, and supplementing what the escrow agent would say.

- Since buying our home, we've recommended 2 other young couples to Ron who were both successful in buying and also had great experiences.

I give my highest recommendation to Ron!
