Add personality to your profile! Tell the community about yourself, your home, and your profession.

I love real estate and helping my clients with one of the biggest decisions and transitions they'll ever make! I bring an education in business and marketing, a career in sales and communications combined with my love for architecture and design that I can offer a blend of experience and enthusiasm for my buyers and sellers in today's real estate market.

I have helped numerous BUYERS locate and purchase their first home and coached many others on pricing and negotiation tactics to create winning offers in today's more competitive market. I have had the benefit of helping numerous SELLERS in the sales process often getting quick multiple offers above list price. By consulting on the best staging and home preparation tactics as well as pricing the home correctly has proven to be a winning combination for a successful and stress-free transaction.

As a Realtor since 2007, I think it's important to continue learning about my industry and received an Associate Broker license in 2011 and annually recognized as one of the company's top performing agents with PalmerHouse Properties in Buckhead.

My objective is to really help buyers and sellers achieve their goals: researching, negotiating and offering credible counseling on the real estate market's ever-changing conditions and offer strategic and appropriate valuation and marketing strategies. I promise to provide my best service with authenticity, transparency and total commitment. I am straight-forward, honest and will freely give my educated opinions and work to keep buyers and sellers extremely focused on their end goal.

A little history and why I'm in Real Estate...

While earning my Business degree from Ole Miss, I was also very active in the student body and represented the Rebels on the Varsity Cheerleading team. I then completed my Masters of Business Administration at the University of Memphis and fell in love with the stately homes and architecture of the city and began working with the home design and products industry.

After moving to Atlanta in 1997, I quickly adopted the city as home and worked in corporate marketing for MCI. I then got fully entrenched in the home remodeling and redesign industry working with two of the city's leading designers, leading to a career in real estate in 2007. Living in Virginia Highland, Ormewood Park and now, Grant Park, I have renovated two homes and extensively remodeled his current modern bungalow in Grant Park which was featured in the 2012 Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes.

Ratings & Reviews

I recently sold my townhouse in Atlanta. Ron Dickerson was my agent. I was very impressed with his knowledge of my community and the recent sales in my area. We sold in no time. He went the extra mile and handled a few repairs for me as I had taken a job out of state. I would highly recommend Ron to anyone selling or buying. Rob Thorpe

i worked with Ron to find a loft space. He was excellent in understanding my wants and sending me very relevant properties to review. He had an excellent knowledge of the neighborhoods we reviewed and was good at responding in a timely manner. Working with my lender closely we closed quickly and efficiently. I wold recommend him.  More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $300K in Ormewood Park, Atlanta, GA.

Ron was just great. Thank goodness he remained level-headed with excellent attention to every little detail. We listed the home for $250K and sold the house for $275K. We of course needed some place to go and looking at rentals was depressing. But we found a home for sale that we really liked. It was really a near perfect match for our family. Ron negotated for us a purchase agreement that was contingent on the closing of the sale of our old home with the complimentary lease agreement that enabled us to move forward into our new home while the buyers moved into our old home, seamlessly. Without a hitch! Both the home we were moving into and the home we were selling had cloudy titles that had to be cleared up. But within two months we had sold our old home in Atlanta and purchased our new home in Douglasville, for cash. We of course were just nuts about half the time but with Ron as our team leader we were able to pull it off with easy hard work. Ron made the realization of our goals simply a matter of clean, professional deliberation. And we had fun!  More Less

Stuart and Shirley, Thank you so much for your patience and trust throughout the entire transaction. When we started discussing some options over a year ago, who could have imagined it work out so well even through the hurdles. I'm so happy for you both to have your own dream home to create many new memories. We'll definitely miss you in the neighborhood too but know you're enjoying your new neighborhood in Douglasville.
