We engaged Rosa to help find our special needs brother his first condo following our parents' passing, and she was the perfect choice. She was hands-on from start to finish, showing us every feasible neighborhood in our price range, honing in on areas after listening to our feedback, and understanding the market dynamics in advising us on what was ultimately a successful pre-emptive bid. She has strong relationships in the business, and has a large rolodex of movers, packers, painters, handymen - everyone to help manage complicated moves. Not to mention, my other brother and I have handling doing this from different coasts, and have been under a consolidated timeline with limited availability, which she has managed without any issues. She has been handling the soup-to-nuts preparation of putting our parents' house on the market, from repairs, lock changes, light replacements, new carpeting, painting, staging, and everything in between. Again, we could not have done any of this without her. Rosa goes above and beyond in every circumstance, gives 110 % and rolls easily with challenges in a solution-oriented way. Beyond that, she is a lovely, gracious person who we all feel very fortunate to have gotten to know. We recommend her without hesitation.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $750K in Blossom Valley, San Jose, CA.

My wife and I worked with Rosa and Maisy for the purchase of first home in 2012 and we were always treated with great respect but more than that, like we were apart of their family! We listed our home 2 years later with them. They worked very hard doing an incredible job for us! We listened to EVERYTHING they had to say and followed every suggestion. They are the experts and that's why we have realtors. My wife and I just had our first baby, and we didn't know the market anymore. This team had us as a top priority. They helped our dreams come true.

I highly highly recommend Rosa and Maisy, they are honest, upfront, professional, caring, understanding, and very strong negotiators. They were able to get us above our asking price!

Stop looking for a realtor and call Rosa!

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $775K in Willow Glen, San Jose, CA.

My wife and I were referred to Rosa and Maisy Young by a friend who also had the pleasure of working with them. Actually, we're a product of a third referral, since the friend's sister worked with them. But, enough about us. Let's talk about Rosa:

Through her professionalism, expertise, and negotiation skills, she's helped us to secure the home of our dreams in this insane Bay Area market and I'm sure she'll do the same for you. She worked with all of the relevant parties and ensured that the process ran smoothly, keeping us informed every step of the way. She'll respond to your emails on a dime and one wonders when she has the time to sleep or eat. She also patiently answered all our questions and believe me, there were a ton of them.

She's definitely a "people-person" - immediately likeable and will work with all parties in warm and accommodating manner, yet always looking out for your best interests. There are just some people you know you want to work with and Rosa's one of them. I'm sure this sentiment is felt by all of the other parties, lenders, title companies, and the opposing realtor - that's why the process was so easy and closed according to schedule.

After 4 unsuccessful offers, we finally found a great place at a relatively okay price, amidst a market full of Googlites throwing insane wads of cash at really horrendous looking abodes. And this could not have been possible without Rosa and Maisy! Thank you both again.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $800K in Campbell, CA.

We met Rosa by chance in an open house she hosted. She was very friendly and patient answering our questions even though she knew that we were not potential buyers for the house she was hosting. From the few minutes of conversation, our gut feeling told us she is someone whom we would feel comfortable working with and we were right! Rosa has worked with our family on and off for about a year looking for a home in the Sunnyvale/San Jose/Campbell area. Getting the right home in these areas is no easy feat in this sellers' market and Rosa has helped us navigate through the challenging process. She was also very accommodating and flexible with showing hours and late night writing up offers! We finally purchased a home in a nice neighborhood within our price range. From the beginning to the closing process, Rosa had been there as an adviser, a coordinator and friend. It was a pleasure working with Rosa and we would recommend her to anyone who is house hunting. Thanks very much Rosa!

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.725M in Saratoga, CA.

I had the pleasure of working with Rosa on the sale of our family home. She earned our respect by her energy, eagerness and passion to serve her clients as a top priority. Her hard work, commitment, and her willingness to help encourages everyone to move to shared goals. She is a joy to work with. From the moment you meet Rosa, it is obvious that she adapts well to new people, new ideas, and new environments. She thrives and her values are paramount with her thoughts on helping her customers. She is a positive force, always eager to join in and work hard on whatever task or project is needed. She is a creative thinker with a "can-do" attitude and fun to be with. She faces each challenge with eagerness and enthusiasm. This always serves to motivate others to do the same. In my experience, this intense focus she has on setting and achieving personal goals AND group goals with such a positive attitude, is an extraordinary leadership quality. Rosa is independent and confident, and has enough whimsy in her personality to be able to laugh at herself. She is very flexible in decision making, where she shows exemplary grace. She leads with her heart and her smile. Her warmth and sincerity has created community and friendships.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.575M in West San Jose, San Jose, CA.

Rosa Bencuya worked with us in a difficult real estate transaction, and I would like to take this opportunity to provide feedback to others on her services, with the hope it will provide future buyers and sellers the crucial information they will need in selecting a real estate professional with whom to work.

My parents lived in our family home in West San Jose, from 1969 until my Dad's death in 2013. There were many emotional factors which needed to be addressed, and I was charged with helping my mother downsize, market and sell the home and move to a whole new area in the course of several months.

As a tax attorney living and working in the East Bay, I was particularly motivated to work with someone who knew the ins and outs of the unique Silicon Valley residential real estate market, as that was the part of the overall process I felt the least familiar with.

Having bought and sold several homes of my own, and not having had very good experiences with the realtors associated with those transactions, I was a bit leery going into this process.

Rosa broke all stereotypes and hesitancies I previously had with realtors. She was absolutely amazing to work with in so many ways.

First, she was extremely patient and understanding of my mother's emotional circumstances. She managed to make my mother feel positive and not feel pressured in any way.

Second, she was incredibly well versed in all of the specifics about the local real estate market. She provided us with not only data on historical sales and pricing information, but she also had the 'inside line' on properties that were coming to market

Finally, and of the most importance to many sellers, Rosa spent considerable time thinking, calculating and advising on both how to price our property for sale and how to prepare it, or "stage" it, to maximize the sales price. To my mother, spending cash to "fix up" her home to sell it was something completely foreign, and, in fact, was a concept my mother did not totally buy into at first. Rosa, being sensitive to those concerns, managed to work some kind of magic in getting the house completely painted, hardwood floors re-done, replacement of light fixtures, plus furnishings for such a smaller amount of money that I simply don't know how she did it!

In this day and age it is easy to downplay the role of a realtor in a residential real estate transaction, since so much information is available to each of us via the Internet. However, there is much more to it than the two dimensional experience you get from browsing online. This third dimension can only come from someone who lives and works in an area, and completely and totally understands the mentality and approach of buyers and sellers, as well as someone who has vast hands on experience representing both buyers and sellers in this very unique market. That is not something any of us can gain by looking at properties on websites. The market in the South Bay is exceedingly competitive and in order to participate in it with any level of personal satisfaction and/or success, you need to have someone like Rosa Bencuya at the helm of your transaction. On top of ALL of her many valuable attributes from a business perspective, she is one of the most sincere, positive and likeable professionals I have ever met in any field. Thank you, Rosa, for all you did to close this chapter in my family's life.

Bought a home in 2013.

Rosa went above and beyond to make sure my fiancee and I were comfortable every step of the way. She would answer our phone calls late night and send us e-mails throughout the day with any updates that she had.

Rosa would give you her thoughts on what the area is currently priced at, what kinda of development is being added and what we should expect for the future. She will let us know if the area is not worth it and what to expect going forward on an offer.

she learned our personalities and could figure out we didn't like a place even before we even said anything. She has very good instinct and will definitely use her for our next place.

Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $600K in Mountain View, CA.

Rosa was fantastic to work with. She listened and observed my wife and my reactions to places that we looked at and continued to refine the searches to meet align with our needs. She and Maisy were a lot of fun to work with, and Rosa provided different insight and input into the process from Maisy.

My wife and I will definitely do business with Rosa again and would not hesitate to recommend her to our friends.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Crescent Park, Palo Alto, CA.

I would highly recommend Rosa. She is very responsive, patient, and no pressure. We worked with Rosa for over a year to find exactly what we were looking for and we finally found it Rosa was masterful in negotiating with the sellers to insure that our offer was accepted at a price we wanted. She managed all the paperwork with no problems and insured that the sale closed problem free.
