Ross Vann moved to Washington, DC after graduating from North Carolina State University. He has honed his skills in sales and marketing through working in dynamic industries and shifting marketplaces.
Ross landed a music lovers dream job at Sony Music, starting humbly in the mailroom and working his way up to becoming a top-executive for marketing in the Mid-Atlantic region. Progressing through the ranks at record speed he thought his career path was set. Then, in 2002 he found himself in an industry in turmoil. His business foresight and market insight told him that the music industry was set to undergo huge transformations. It was time for Ross to pursue other passions.
Deciding to stay in DC was his first big decision, switching industries was the next. Ross brought his creativity and marketing talents to real estate and joined the Murphy Team at Coldwell Banker. During this career transition, the music industry continued to suffer as the real estate markets flourished. Ross knew he made the right decision and fully embraced his new career.
Now ten years in Real Estate, Ross has sales of over $150 Million now averaging over $15 million per year and even selling $25 million in a single year. Ross attributes his crossover success to applying his client relationship experience from the music industry to Real Estate. Since the transition he¹s become a highly referred residential agent and one of the region¹s top commercial agents, closing over $20 million in commercial sales. Previously working with artists from Mandy Moore to Ozzy Osbourne has given Ross the insight to work with any unique client. Ross works with families looking for a home to raise children, bachelors looking for that perfect loft, and investors seeking that next lucrative opportunity.
Ross uses his decade of experience, knowledge, dedication and passion to guide clients through the buying and selling process.
