Roy is a native Massachusetts resident, having grown up in Chelsea. He graduated from Babson College with a double major in Marketing and International Business Studies, and after selling his start-up business, Roy attained his real estate sales license in 2003 and later his real estate broker license in 2007. Most recently he received his Certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University. 

Roy started at MBRE as marketing co-project manager for Keen Lofts, Industrie Lofts, and the Box Works Condos. These projects each required individual comprehensive marketing plans targeting specific groups with key demographics, brand and image creation, website and content development. His expertise, intimate market knowledge and networking skills were fully utilized on these mixed income residential developments focused on working class first time homebuyers.

Roy also worked as project manager for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Office of Real Estate and Asset Development. In this capacity he assisted in the disposition, leasing or selling of Mass DOT controlled properties. It was in this role that Roy worked hand in hand with large well known Boston area developers, elected officials, local municipalities and community groups in the development of Mass DOT controlled properties while insuring compliance of guidelines. This role included assisting in analyzing the development feasibility of each proposal, analyze the capacity of the proposers to execute the proposals and analyze the financial component of proposals.  

In addition to his real estate practice, Roy shown his strong belief for community service by having  served public office as a city councilor in Chelsea for over twelve years and as a member of the Planning Board for three years. He currently serves on the Licensing Board.

Helped me rent a Multi Family home in Chelsea, MA.

I cannot say enough good things about Roy and all the time and work he put into finding the right place for me. Though, I was only looking for a small place to rent that was reasonably priced, Roy handled the entire process as if I was purchasing a home! He was patient with me and gave me honest and helpful advice. He was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Not to mention, he got my place down to 1100/month from 1350/month. I couldn't believe it! He knows how to negotiate and will absolutely get you the best price possible. When I do decide to buy my first home or condo - won't be renting again because I'm absolutely in love with my place - I will go to Roy. Not enough can be said about a person that you trust and depend on for honest advice in this business, so that alone, should make you want to work with this man! Thanks Roy!  More Less

Helped me rent a Multi Family home in Chelsea, MA.

Roy is one of the best people I knew while living in Boston. Very knowledgeable of the area, super responsive, and always helpful even following the rental transaction. I can't say enough good things about Roy except that I would highly recommend him to anyone!
