Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $225K in Fallbrook, CA.
Once I understood the short sale process and realized that my agent had moved on to a different job, I was able to communicate directly with the ruth pugh group who were extremely helpful and responsive to all my calls, questions and concerns. When there was a last minute problem with the water heater when I was out of town, they made sure it was taken care of. They provided me with information regardinging me the legalities of the short sale, and did protect my interests during this very difficult time.
If you are doing a short sale, I would advise you to work directly with the short sale team, rather than the listing realtor who may not necessarily have your best interests in mind or be knowledgeable about the process.
